This month my DH will be away for business when IUI would be timed. The Dr is offering to put me on the pill to stop ovulation from occurring and then going off to start my cycle again. I would have AF 2 times in one month! Rad!!! (NOT!)

Any experience or opinions on doing this? I know some women go on the pill to get rid of cysts so this would be similar, I think?

Heather...That's exactly what they do with IVF and what I've done for IVF and IUI w/cysts...You'll be fine...It will actually suppress you a bit before, so you might end up responding a bit better than your other cycles once you start stimming...Good luck sweetie!!!

Yes, I second Charity.
I've done this before. I have PCOS and everytime I used injectables I always have left over cysts. They tehn put me on BCP to get rid of them.
Yes, it sucks that you'll get your period twice but it's really not that bad.
