Bistro - sorry that you are here again.
 that this is the month!mooodyb2000 - seems like there are quite a few of us on our 3rd IUI... 3rd time IS the charm... here come the  'sa_kashawlic - I am on Follistim this month as well. I was really worried about injecting myself as DH is away but thankfully it isn't as bad as I thought. I almost think it is better doing it myself, seems like it doesn't hurt as much. Meg - I have found that since starting any sort of treatment AF has been alot worse for me as well. Hope we get  soon so we don't have to deal with it anymore.Birthday -  I have also found this site helpful. It is so nice to be able to talk to other people going through the same thing. Hope your first IUI turns out to be your last as well!!  Greg'slady - glad you were able to get a better deal on your Clomid!! AllDelivers - sorry you are here again also. I that this is the month for you and that you do not need to move on to IVF. I really need to control how much I am on here as well. Last cycle, I felt like I was checking in way too often. AFM, I am going in for an u/s and b/w tomorrow morning so hoping everything looks good. Hope you all had a great weekend!

I wanted to respond to your question about Clomid for men. It increases testosterone - thus increasing sperm counts. My DH has been taking it since January for low testosterone and low sperm count. His December 2008 count was 20 mil, then his May 2009 count was 35 mil and all other numbers associated with and SA went up as well. His testosterone also tripled in that time. He did have surgery for 11 varicoceles in January 2009 and that may have also helped his counts rise. We are hoping that his SA this month is even more improved. Hope this helps.

IUI maybe this weekend
I had my bloodwork and ultrasound. I have small follies on right under 12mm and 1 on left 17mm. I continue on Gonal F 112.5 tonight and tomorrow returning for U/S and BW on Wednesday.
I might be having my IUI this weekend. Yikes. This is going to be my second IUI.  I am so glad to have found this site and feel so much better going through this together with all of you, for better or for worse, we are all in this together!!! to all.

Hi Ladies - I just joined these boards last week and thought I'd join you here as
showed up for me today. I talked to my Dr and will start taking Clomid again on Wed - CD 3 and I have my u/s scheduled for Aug 14 - which is CD 12. If things look good then I'll have an Ovidrel trigger that day and have IUI the next day (Aug 15), which puts me just at the end of the date range of this group. I look forward to getting to know all of you.

hockeygrl! dylansmom.. I am having SUCH terrible hot flashes! I never ever ever turn on the a/c. Last night I cranked on the air and fans and was still covered in sweat! My dh woke up this morning and was like, IT'S FREEZING IN HERE! I'm hoping since this is totally new that I am going to get this month! WOOO WOOO!!!  I am keeping myself busy this cycle so that I don't test. I want to find out on BW day instead of knowing ahead! Have a wonderful day all!

and good luck to you..i'll probably fall just outside of the range for this group but they haven't kicked me out yet! lolgregslady sorry bout the hot flashes ..the things we girls go thru lol..mine haven't been bad this cycle but i've felt a lot of activity down there lol ..kinda like the cycle that brought my bfp..so here's hopin against hope..i got to tell you girls tho i am terrified if it does work cuz with this darn hydro i think i will just lose it again..i haven't said much about it but will bring it up at the next re apt...i think if we are to go any farther after this months cycle we will have to get rid of that tube ...not doin me any good anway... anyway enuf of this neg. stuff i am hopin for lots of bfp for this group..hope this month is a lucky one.. naomi

Hi future moms! I am between IVFs and decided to do IUI this month, naturally (a step up from doing a total natural cleansing month). I have had 2 failed IVFs - the first (in June) the medication dosage was too low for me, and the second (July) I had two great embryos that passed genetic testing, partially implanted and then left. I will do IVF #3 if I have to. Yikes!
I now have 2 follies that are in the game (maybe from leftover IVF hormones?) -- 13 and 14 mm (I'M PRAYING FOR TWINS) -- and am checking my LH surge with a kit. Not yet! I expect to IUI by Friday. I'm so happy to be joining you guys. Let's already!

Hey everyone!! I just wondering if those of you that are doing injectables are having much shorter cycles? THis is my first month with injections and IUI together and I looks like I will be having my IUI this weekend. Usually I ovulate on cycle day 15 but this month it will be around cycle day 10-12. I haven;t even had my IUI and I am already dreading the 2ww. I am going on a mini vacation from 8-26 to -29 and was planning on testing when I get back but now I know i will want to test before I leave. I need some advise, what would you guys do? wait so as to not be disappointed or do it first so I don't drive myself crazy? I know it is way to early to be stressing about this but I can't help it. To answer some questions (sorry this is an impersonal format but I am at work)... I have not had hotflashes as much as I have had constant nausea and poor appetite. It seems I am hungry, but it takes me everything I have to choke the food down. I hate hormones!
Also, I have had shorter cycles with the injectables, especially once my body has gotten use to them. First cycle was CD18 for IUI, Second was CD 14, and last cycle was CD 12. I am hoping this cycle holds out in order to get all 7 days worth of injections in! Today was day two! I am with Greg's Lady on waiting to test. I let the sticks get the best of me right around CD 11-12, so hold out because it just leads to second guessing and depressing thoughts since most women get a BFN when testing early anyway. Just keep telling yourself that if you test early it will be negative, so wait. AFM, I am bruised on one side of my belly already. I do not like taking the injections. I swear it gets harder and harder to administer them to myself. I am just so tired today, but have to be here at work. Tomorrow is DHs birthday, so we are going out to eat to celebrate. YAY!

AllDeliveries: My right side has been bruised too since last Wednesday. I don't know what I did wrong. It's about 2 1/2 inches long and 1 inch wide and covers most of the area where I'm supposed to inject. It's been difficult trying to "pinch" the area right above my underwear line (sorry if TMI). It was a deep purple color, and my husband said we should take a picture so our babies know what we went through for them and they'll definitely know they were wanted. Enjoy your night out tomorrow. We won't have many of those once the babies get here.
