Allright . . .I will read through all the posts and write more when I have time, but I just wanted to drop in and say I'm officially in this month. on the beta today. Doing surprisingly OK. Perhaps because I'M GETTING PREGNANT IN AUGUST!!! I am . . . I have to be . . .it's my time!!! I am all about the power of uberpositive thinking this month. I've tried everything else, so why not!

I agree! It's my time too. This has got to be it. We will be this month in Jesus' name! We receive our babies and God's best!

Hi, everyone. I thought that I would post here as well since the IUI section up through August 7th hasn't had any responses here lately.

I had my trigger shot today and I am going in tomorrow for my 1st IUI (Wednesday 8/5). I am super excited and know that good things will come.

GGEdwards - I loved your prayer. Hopefully I can be included in it as well.

Here is to praying that we all get our this month and get our belly that we all want. I will keep my and I am seing out tons of and , In Jesus' name I pray. Amen and God Bless everyone and your babies to be.

My only advice to those of you who are nervous about the first IUI- take in your IPOD and listen to some Marvin Gaye Lol... for me it was always like something was missing (like the romance). So, my DH was forced to give me a kiss afterward, and I told him we needed to take the music next time.

Good luck for those of you IUI-ing in the AM! And take my advice above with a grain of salt.

Well, my hot flashes are insane! I cannot believe what a difference 50mg makes!

I go in on Tuesday for my u/s and possibly trigger and IUI. I then go back the next morning for a second IUI.

I hope this works. We are thinking about adoption or fostering if it doesn't. I just don't want to wait anymore. I'm no spring chicken! I have to say that this has taught me a lot about myself. I am adopted and was fully against adopting because I want someone in my life that is genetically linked to me. Then we found out that we had to use donor sperm and I saw how my DH handled it. His attitude was so positive that it made me realize that genetics isn't the dream. The dream is a child.

So, I anticipate a for all of us!

Hi, everyone! I just had my first IUI this morning. There are now 11 million sperm swimming around in my uterus doing their job. Hopefully that is a good number.

Anyway, I know that I am technically in the wrong date thread but no one ever responds in the right date thread.

Is anyone else in the 2WW with me?

Alldiliveries- I LOVE your advise about bringing an ipod and listening to some romantic music. I also feel like it stinks that we make our babies without any romance. My I bring in my DH sperm because he works nights and is sleeping during the day so he can't come with me to the appointment. Last month all I could think of was how sterile and unromantic IUI is. I am bringing my ipod and my husband and I's wedding song to my IUI this month!! THanks You so much for the GREAT advise!!

I feel completely sick to my stomach today. I don't know if its the meds or weather. Its cycle day 11, after monday's bw/us and continuing on Gonalf, I had another bw/us today and just heard back. There are two follies around 16mm they are focusing on. I continue tonight on Gonal f and go in again tomorrow for more bw/us (feeling like a pincushion) then maybe Saturday IUI.

I am so ready to get this over with. I feel exhausted....

Brenda ... I know how you feel about the pin cushion thing. My arms look like I am druggie with all of the bruises I have.

The one thing I keep thinking of is how this will all be worth it when we get to bring home our little baby (babies).

Thanks for the welcome ladies! There are so many posts it's a bit difficult to keep up. I'll try to get in the swing of things.

I picked up my Clomid (50mg) today and will start taking it tonight. I had a rough weekend, but am trying to get into a positive mindset again. I know there is hope as a friend of mine had a baby last week after 3 years of IF and finally ending up doing IVF and she now has her miracle. for one of my own as well as for everyone else on this board.

Come on May babies!!!

hello ladies,

finally done with AF and on CD6, 2nd day of clomid - i have my fist appointment with the acupuncturist tomorrow and am keeping my fingers crossed that it goes well and hopefully it'll help!! I got in for my first u/s on Tuesday the 08/11 - clomid has been making me dizzy!

Nicky - AF was painful and seemed long but it's finally done! Keeping my for you! 3rd time is the charm!!

Birthday!! I just joined this forum and it is super helpful, I am now on my 2nd IUI

Hockeygirl - seems like your RE does u/s and IUI the same way mine does - usually at CD12!

wantingtobeamommy: I'm glad your IUI went well. The 2ww is the hardest part. Just remember...don't test too early!

Birthday: How did your IUI go this morning?

I'm taking my last Gonal F shot tonight 300iu and then we have to BD in the early AM (my DH works until midnight) and of all days, tomorrow I have a 9AM meeting with a client. So much for sleep. Tomorrow night I trigger with Ovidrel at 9PM and IUI is set for 10:45 AM on Saturday! this is it! Brenda, you might be right along with me.

Greg's lady and Meg_1981 - I've been having horrible hot flashes on clomid as well. Last month my dosage was 100mg (up from my usual 50mg) and wow I could really tell the difference.

AFM I'm on CD9 today. CD12 u/s is Saturtday morning and hopefully IUI morning of Aug10. Really hope it works out. I'm little nervous about my first IUI.
