Hello! This month will be my 2nd IUI. I go in for an ultrasound and trigger shot on the 6th so, I assume I will have the IUI done on the 8th. I'm praying that it works this time. Good luck to everyone!

I am joining prematurely not knowing when I will need to schedule my 2nd IUI, however, I got my period on the 26th and started my gonal f on the 29th. I am going in for bloodwork and ultra. on Monday, 8/3/09. Will stay tuned.

I just had my CD3 US and am good to go for my 2nd IUI. I'm using 100mg Clomid CD3-7 with Ovidrel after CD12 US (shot & IUI TBD by follicles that day). Should be around August 10th or 1th.

I guess we're going in for the 2nd IUI and I should be within the dates on this sticky for the IUI

May is the month per got married, my DHs birthday and sadly when we had our first MC. I hope in 2010 it will be our lucky month!

I am planning the IUI for around the 13th? My CD1 was yesterday.

I will definately keep my fingers crossed for you. I can't imagine paying for this. I have Fallon ins. and they pay for all IVF and IUIs. The meds have a copayment. But my husband is self-employed, so we pay $1432 / mo for insurance. So, I guess inadvertanely we are paying for it. How much is it each IUI? (if you don't mind me asking)

Hi ladies can I join in? I'm doing my first IUI on Aug10. I had three unsucessful only clomid cycles and it's time for IUI. Just had my CD3 ultrasound today, next visit is on CD12 for follie check ( I will be taking 50mg clomid). Hope for bunch of BFP's on this forum.

Dylansmommy - we will let you stay, even if you do O late Good luck this cycle!

Lahamilton - looks like you will be one of the first having your IUI! Hope you are amongst the first to start a roll for us all.

BrendaP - we will let you stay as well None of us really know yet if our IUIs will fall in the week as anything can happen, especially with all the meds we are taking.

Chtrbxx79 - looks like we are IUI buddies again. We were both on the 13th last month and I am guessing I will around the 10th.

Meg - my DH and I got married in May as well, so it is a lucky month for us both!

Greg'slady - this cycle works for you, for all of us. This will be our last IUI attempt for now as well. If it doesn't work, then we will take a break for a few months.

Skyhope - that adding in an IUI will be the key for you.

AFM, I am taking Follistim this month. I will be starting with 75IU tomorrow night and continue this until Tuesday when I go in for a follie check.

It will obviously vary from clinic to clinic but I am going to a really reasonable place with wonderful doctors!
I will tell you, I was shocked at how reasonable it is compared to IVF. We had a little under $4000 saved. It will be all gone after this round...

I paid $1300 for donor sperm, approx $150 for meds, $580 for the IUI's, $789 for 3 u/s, and we haven't gotten the bill for the bw yet but I am hoping my ins will pick that up... HOPING!

This round we don't need the sperm or we wouldn't have the $$ to do it all!

Also, had CD 3 u/s and bw. They said all looks good and will call with results. I start Clomid 150 mg today!

Hi Ladies!

I think I am going to join here. I hope I'm being premature. I've not gone for my beta (supposed to be 8/3) nor have I gotten AF. I haven't even POAS!! But, especially after a botched cycle in July, I'm almost positive I'm not pregnant. My bbs get really sore about a week after O, then stop around 12 or 13 DPO . . . and that's what's happening now.

Anyhoo, based on past cycles, the IUI would be 8/15 or 8/16. So here I am!

We pay our of pocket as well and had to pay $1200 for our first IUI and $1000 for the one coming up. Meds are out of pocket but b/w is ins covered! My cousin is an acupuncturist and she suggested i do it so i am going to do that this cycle (unfortunately also not insurance covered) but anything that would help, i'm willing to try!!

Holy moly that is lots for ins!

Well, I don't pay much for ins since it's through my work but I think you may be in a mandated state! Are you in Mass by chance? lol I swear everyone on here is!! LOL

I'm in Michigan and we are not a mandated state so ... that's that I guess! I wish I had coverage but I do not! I have looked into getting a rider or a whole separate plan because I think if this doesn't work we will eventually do IVF, but it's too expensive for us right now.

Good afternoon! Today is CD 7 amd tomorrow is my last day of Clomid. Then I'm supposed to start Estrogen on Sunday. I'm not sure why. The RE said my lining was perfect last month. Does anyone have experience with taking estrogen? Are there any funny side effects?
