Hello Ladies,

We got the green light to do our 3rd IUI but I guess you could see IUI 1 with new RE. The doctor put me on the med called Femara 2.5mg 2 pills a day. If will go and read what all our new RE found out that the old RE didn't even tell us. I'm very happy with our new RE but peaved off at old RE of what he didn't find or didn't tell us..

Not sure on the date for IUI due to having to do watch for a LH Surge starting on day 10 if no LH Surge by Sept 14 then will have trigger shot. this is our time..

Will be for you all too. Hope we all on here get our very soon.

Thank God I switched RE's. The other one just sucks sorry for sounding mean but he does by what the new RE found...

I am so angry with my DH right now. Told me to relax - that I'm too wound up and since the beginning have been worried and maybe that's the problem. That maybe I should just "not think about it." Of all people!!

I am considering taking a break now. I don't even care about his opinion on the matter. I'm sure I'll feel differently in a day or two, but I am so mad at him right now.

A good night's sleep and I am not as mad at DH anymore. He really did not mean to hurt my feelings or to blame me. He was trying to help. I know this and just can't waste time being angry anyway.

officially arrived this morning. U/S and bloodwork tomorrow. Hope 3rd time is a charm for me and I get a nice gift for my 3rd anniversary next June!

If this one does not work (BUT IT WILL), I am planning to go for a lap and I guess take a little break since the insurance money will have run out.

for a healthy baby in June 2010!!!

aimers i'm sorry you got a negative...as lonely as it would be i would be so happy if no one else had to join us here becuz they were all preggers...saying that we will try to will it into being and have lots of happy bfp for this cycle for EVERYBODY lol...good luck to you

bistro so sorry about dh...i know they are trying to help right i mean they love us but sometimes what they say can come out at the wrong moment even if there is truth in it...glad you feel better after sleeping on it and hope for excellent news for your baseline tomorrow..good luck

slyfoxy i know how frustrating the internet and your connection not working can be(omg lol)so sorry you have to deal with that on top of everything lol...meds aren't so bad took my next to last bcp this evening so woohoo tomorrow i am done with those...lupron isn't too bad i had a bad headache(coulda been caffeiene withdrawal induced)the day following my first shot and that shot stung and itched a lot...but everything since has been fine...tho i think personally it hurts less to do the shot in the stomach than the leg...ouch...i won't start my follistim or know how much to take until my baseline on i'm assuming tues or weds this coming week...almost hoping the holiday weekend flies by so i can get this party started..lol..woohoo

on a positive note(i think lol)i may get to keep my job now for a little while longer...the waiting for the axe to fall is killer tho but it means insurance to continue with if treatments(only covers u/s and b/w but every little bit)unfortunately i cannot come up with what to do with my sons care for the time between my dh leaving for work and me coming home (i will have to move from 1st shift to 3rd)so that is a dilemma..no family can do it and i have trust issues(he's my only baby for heaven's sake)and no day care opens this early even registered home care...so still trying to find an option....seriously considering opening an in home day care...and if i wind up not being able to conceive i can live vicariously thru others children lol...sigh

Today I'm 19dpiui and I FINALLY started spotting today after a ton of BFN's and a negative beta! I'm pretty sure tomorrow will be CD1 for me. On to IUI #3. Not sure what the plan is for this cycle...will hopefully find out tomorrow. I'm trying to get a bit more positive, but this BFN has hit me hard and I'm feeling more down than usual with this cycle.

Hey alliben - I am sorry to see you here, but it means you are not preggers, but glad to see another familiar "face" and another person who is on round #3.

The fact that IUI #2 failed got me down too. I was really positive about that one and our timing was great. My RE told me today at the baseline appt that he wants to see me for an office visit to discuss what the next steps are in case this one and #4 do not work. He says that after #4, the stats on positives go down.

I'm just frustrated because my DX is unexplained. I am trying to keep positive. All looked good at the baseline this morning.

I have also noticed some changes in my cycle. My period is longer (good for me because I am concerned about lining), PMS symptoms were different, a couple of other things. I hope these are good signs for me! I have been doing acupunture - maybe it is working!

It looks like I will have my IUIs on the 14th and 15th. I think I am going to skip the next U/S to save insurance money. I am pretty regular.

dylansmommy glad to hear your doing good with your injectables. We've been thinking if after 3 round with this new drug no bfp may see what next be but of right now going to try this new drug an see what happens for us. Which praying we soon see a BFP as I'm getting older.. LOL..

Aimers1 sorry to hear you got a BFN hang in there and don't give up your time is coming it maybe just take a bit.

AFM: Well I'm doing pretty good took my 3rd day of Fermera an so far so good don't feel bad at all. Last day taking them will be Sunday then starting 10th day start testing with a ovulation kit to look for my LH Surge. Not many more days YEAHHH... this will work.

bistro sometimes i wonder how much of the unexplained diagnosis has to do with our tubes and possible damage to the cillia or just an egg that is not ripe...when you read the ivf boards you see they had maybe 26 follicles but then only had 14 eggs and of those eggs only 8 went on to grow so that just means we are going thru the same thing on a once a month basis instead of all at once, if and i say IF you don't conceive after many iui's...ivf may work the first time...don't get so down...know that there is always hope the road might just look a little different than what you were thinking.

alliben so sad/wonderful to see you here with us...bittersweet i know...we will be happy to have you and cheer you on for your next attempt and hopefully congratulate you when it works...good luck

well took the last bcp a while ago...not looking forward to my next lupron injection..they are starting to hurt more each time and i am starting to hesitate longer before jabbing myself lol...hope af hurries up and gets here....and that my re is open so i can schedule the baseline appt when it does lol...happy holiday weekend ladies

I hear you on the unexplained dx...except for an elevated fsh, we should be all systems go. It's harder every month, for me I think even worse now that we're doing treatments that should make it so much easier...I'm very bitter today, so I'm not going to keep going, but

dylansmommy - thank you for your post. What you are saying makes a lot of sense. I just wish we weren't the ones with the dumb luck. I hate that the things we are doing feel like shots in the dark. But we WILL get there. My DH and I - we were meant to be great parents!! Also, I am really sorry to hear that you are experiencing pain with the injections! I take pills, so I don't have to do that - I don't know that I would be able to!! Can your DH help out???

alliben and aimers - try to keep your chins up!! I think we all have some really bad days, but we need them and we deserve them!! I don't think this process ever gets easier, but I think some days are easier than others. Hang in there. I have had some doozy days lately so I know how you feel!

slyfoxy - I too am doing a femara cycle. I start tonight. I have found there to be few side effects. Good luck!!!

AFM - I am going to search the net for some in person IF support groups after I post. It has been so helpful to be here, I think I want to take the next step and get even more support! My 2 best friends who are not going through this are trying to be so helpful and have great intentions, but it's hard. One of them is due in October and she's been great, but it's hard to talk to her about it. The other is single and not at this stage yet and is also great but I think she doesn't know how to really support me. I don't want this IF stuff to be the only thing we talk about!

It's official... arrived today, despite the progesterone. I'm sticking with 50mg of clomid since I'm getting good follicles with it. My Dr doesn't want to up the dose and risk overstimulating me. I have my first scan on the 16th. This is our last IUI with my OB/GYN. If this one fails, we're going to an RE. After we see an RE, we're re-evaluate to determine what our next step may be...IUI with injectibles, DH having surgery, or saving for IVF.

I'm also happy/sad to see familar faces, too! I'm trying to put the last IUI behind me and focus good energy on the next!

alliben - I'm glad AF finally came so that you can move forward. I know that once you are sure you have that , seeing that red-headed wench show her ugly face can be almost a relief!! As you know, I am on #3 too!! I think slyfoxy too. Praying hard that the 3rd time is a charm for us all!!!!
