showed for me last night, so I will probably be starting my clomid for the cycle tomorrow or Tuesday. I'm feeling better today because I know that we're moving on.

I will be attempting my first IUI this month. If all goes well it should be somewhere around the 12-16. I start my Follistim injectables for the first time tomorrow Yay!

Bistro...It was a relief to finally get AF. Even though I had no pregnancy symptoms, tons of BFNs, and a BFN beta, w/o AF I was still thinking "well maybe..." Silly, I know. But even though I started spotting, I still kept taking the progesterone "just in case." What a pain!! I do hope the third time is the charm for us!!

woohoo...it's 7 am and do you know where your af is...lol ..yup that's right she showed up in full force this morning and i'm gonna complain here so you can skip this part lol"of course the dang witch shows up when there is no one in the darn office on this darn it all holiday lol...."..ok so i will leave a message and hopefully they will call me back tomorrow and let me know when i can get this party started but i think as soon as i have my u/s and b/w scheduled i will start my follistim that evening so WWWWOOOOOOOOHHHHOOOOOOOOO!

I'm soooo annoyed! I started on Saturday, so I thought I would be going today for my bw and us, but when I called, they told me to come tomorrow! They're open today, so wtf!?! If I start the clomid tomorrow, it'll be cd4, so not sure what they're thinking. Maybe they'll have me wait until Wednesday to start and do cd 5-9.

You know, when I was learning patience recently, unrelated to fertility issues one guru said, "You need to be patient and know that things are in the 'womb of time.'" I think that's especially appropriate for this group here, don't you think?

AFM - I had a U/S yesterday when on day 6 of stims (150 Gonal-F). I have 1 follie at 10 and 4 follies under 10 on one side; and 2 follies at 10 and 5 follies under 10 on the other). They reduced me to 75 Gonal-F. Don't want to overstimulate but sure want to find the healthy egg(s)!

I have no idea when IUI will be. How do you guys know?

Okay, quick question about follicles....

If you develop a "follicle" and trigger its' release, does that mean you made an egg? I guess I'm wondering if eggs and follicles are the same thing. Is it possible to have a follicle released with no egg in it? Would they be able to tell that on an ultrasound? Just wondering, especially since with my wacky chromosomes, I shouldn't even be able to produce eggs.

Hope you guys are having fun "back in the saddle." I had a lot of little follies on CD9 yesterday, but still nothing over 10mm. They tell me my system is taking awhile to "wake up" again...goodie, more bw!!!

francesca i am not sure, that is a good question..i guess it would be possible to have a follicle with no egg..just my take from reading all of the ivf threads seems they may retrieve more follies than they have eggs for..i even read one about a follie that had two eggs..i do not however think they can tell by u/s you would probably only find out about this if you went thru ivf where they retrieve them and then they can actually "see" them..good luck to you ..hope you find your eggie

mom43 i like that "womb of time" lol i have lots of patience one day and none the next..have to learn how to make it stretch lol...i'm not sure about the exact timing of the iui...my re gave me a calendar with the tentative dates on it for iui...but it is only an estimate based on the average response to stims...some vary by a lot lol...when the follies get closer to being a good size that should give you a good idea good luck

aimers were you told to take clomid on cycle day 3 previously or have you done that on previous cycles...my re never had me come in for baseline b/w or u/s before starting the clomid..they just checked my b/w at the end of my only working cycle so far and then gave me a prescript for provera and when af started they scheduled me to come in on like cd 14 for my first u/s and and i took the clomid on cd 3-7...but 5-9 may work just the same i think it is just a preference...at least your re answered the phone...af started for me today and no one is in so i left a message...i have little hope they will get me in for an appt tomorrow so i will have to wait until wednesday to take my stims....sigh all of this waiting sure makes a girl tired lol...good luck to you

Hello Ladies,

I took my last 2 pills of FEMARA yesteday. I've had a few side effects but not like had with Clomid when was on it. I'm now sitting an waiting to start doing my ovulation testing starting Thursday so can watch for a LH Surge. When see the LH Surge I call the RE an head out of town to go to his office to have IUI done. Going to stay out of town for a few days after get IUI done so can be stress free... Hope will see LH Surge Saturday so will not have to have a trigger shot Monday. Keeping my that everything goes good for us this time round.

that we all will get our this time round. Hopefully 3rd time will work for me since changed RE and Meds..

bistro I think you said you was taking Femara. I was wondering have you ever felt anything in your ovaries while taking this med?

Reason asking is because I've had some cramping in my ovaries at certain times. So of what I can tell the meds are working.. when go to RE an have ultrasound he tell me how my follices look before do our IUI.

bistro hope everything goes great for you hun. What date r u on now on the pills?
