I am about to take dose #4 of 5 tonight. I take 5 mg - so 2 a night. I haven't felt anything in my ovaries ever, but I've been feeling a little tired and a little bit of tingling in the bb area. I don't think ovary twinges would be strange since it is a drug that affects estrogen production, ya know?
I wish you the best of luck too! I hope this new RE is your good luck charm and also that the third time is a charm!!! When will your IUIs be?

I'm now sitting an waiting to start doing my ovulation testing starting Thursday so can watch for a LH Surge. When see the LH Surge I call the RE an head out of town to go to his office to have IUI done. Going to stay out of town for a few days after get IUI done so can be stress free... Hope will see LH Surge Saturday so will not have to have a trigger shot Monday. Keeping my that everything goes good for us this time round.

bistro of what we've got figured ither it will be the 13th or 14th date. I'm it will be the 14th but hay if I have my LH Surge a little earlier that be great. My DH said he really hopes it works this time. He gets excited everytime it draws near the time to do another IUI. I was kidding him saying you better talk to the boys really good for them to hit the target and he would laugh saying I've been trying to get them to do their thing..

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum. We've been TTC for 1.5 years now. I'm starting my second round of IUI with a scheduled u/s for 9/8. I developed OHSS in my first round with up to 18 follicles over 20mm!! And yet I'm so bummed that round one ended in .

I'm so glad I found a forum filled with such supportive women. It's hard for my friends to understand what I am going through. It's even harder to keep up the positive thoughts, how does everyone keep their spirits up?

I went for my baseline this morning and after they get the results, I should be clear to start my clomid tonight. Naomi, last cycle I took the clomid 3 - 7 after doing a baseline. My RE does one at the start of every cycle. I don't know abut I think that I am still technically cd3 because my actual flow started so late (after 8 pm) on Saturday. Either way, I'm starting tonight. Strange to me though, they did see a 10 mm follie that had already started growing on its own! Maybe I'll have more than one good one this time! My next us is on Monday, so the IUI will probably be Tuesday or Wednesday next week, unless things aren't growing. They do want me to do a 7dpiui progesterone this time though...

shells1 and good luck on your upcoming iui...i think in part coming here and reading everyones stories and just comments help to keep my spirits up...i really don't know what else to say somedays are just bad no matter what you do and you have to try and think that if i cannot salvage today well...darn it all tomorrow will be better...usually it can...good luck

aimers wow one at 10 already that is awesome if your body thought that one was good enough before the clomid maybe this will be your lucky month...hope so!and that makes sense if af started at the end of the day then the next day would be day one so you should be right on ...good luck to you!

i had to call my re this morning i had previously left a message and they did call me back but on my house phone...i don't even get home till 30 minutes after they close so i am glad i called them ....anyway i got my appt for 9:30 am tomorrow for the baseline... for me that all is well and i may get to start my follistim tomorrow evening...YIPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

heavens today was a tester too...hope tomorrow goes well...

Hello Ladies,

I thought would post one more time before staying off the computer until after have IUI. I e-mailed my RE nurse some questions an she answered them today.. She said we could tomorrow an no more til IUI is done.

I'm sitting here waiting for Thursday morning to come so can start my testing for LH Surge as soon get it call my doctor then get ready for IUI. I've been having more pain in both ovaries so hopefully when go to have IUI will find out how well the meds work this time.

I'll be thinking of you all as we are away from the computer for a few days. Going to go ahead an start packing to get ready for our trip.

that this works. Being ttc for so so long hope the 8+yrs is up soon..

slyfoxy - I'll probably start testing for the surge on Thursday too, even though I know by now I probably won't get a positive until Sunday. But since I missed once I don't want to take any chances. I am curious, why are you not supposed to BD till the IUI??? My doc likes DH to clean his tubes out - says it is better. I cannot recall from your siggy if there is a sperm issue tho.

shells1 - welcome! I have been TTC for a little over a year and a half now, so I know how frustrated you are. I think you will be happy you found this group!

Naomi - I am so much and so hard for you that you will be able to start your meds!! I hope the baseline goes well tomorrow. KEEP SMILING!!!

AFM - I am supposed to go for a follie check Friday. I am waivering btween going and not because I am running out of insurance money. If we have to pay out of pocket for anything at this point, it is not going to be pretty, so I am trying to pinch pennies. I am so regular and have been responding much the same way each month (this will be #4 on meds cause I missed one and ALWAYS the same pattern). But I'm also curious too - curious to know about how many follicles and what not. I guess I'll see when the time comes! It would also be nice NOT to have to wake up at the crack of dawn just to make it to the RE by 7:30AM!! Hate that part!

Just joining this group and reading about everyone's frustrations and stories of success has already cheered me up. I am an expat living in Asia with my husband when his company relocated us, sometimes it’s hard to find a good friend to talk to in a foreign country. The good thing to know is that women all over the world experience infertility. I found a great IF specialist here and his office hours are always packed. I guess I find some comfort in knowing a lot more people go through this and I’m not the only one.

Bistro and dylansmommy: thank you for your warm welcome. I’m just taking it day by day. Thinking of ways to keep me occupied during my up coming tww.

My scheduled u/s is for Friday and I just can’t wait to see how many follicles I develop this time!

woohoo!...i'm in the clear and can start my follistim tonight....they made me a little nervous tho cuz my dosage is to be higher than i thought...so we shall see what happens here and then i go back for b/w on friday...hope they picked the right number...had a heck of a headached all day long too...not sure if the lupron has something to do with that...well good luck ladies can't wait to see how everyone does....

Hi everyone. Had my follie check today - 6 follies on one side from 11 to 14 (as well as 6 follies under 10); and on the other side, 3 follies from 10 to 13 (and 3 follies under 10). My estrogen is 1266. ER spoke to me about converting to IVF. That's his suggestion (note: he's not paying). I had to decide ASAP. I thought about it. Meditated on it. Sticking with IUI. More natural. Much less expensive. I think we can do it this way. I do. ER is having me stop all meds and I have another ultrasound and bloodtest Friday. He's hoping only two follies become mature on each side. Because of my age, high-order multiples is highly unlikely.

2 doses of clomid down...and feeling better than last cycle. I was dizzy by this time last cycle, so an improvement I think.

Okay...I spoke too soon! No dizziness, but crazy hot flashes last night! Only 2 doses to go, then us on Monday!

Hello everyone and to the newbies too..

I'm still waiting to see my LH Surge so can leave to get ready for IUI. Of what can tell right now may get my surge tomorrow due to what feeling in ovaries n etc.
If do the IUI will be done first thing Monday morning.

If see Surge on a Sunday IUI will be done later in the evening of Monday.

So if will keep that it will be done on that day.
If no LH Surge seen during this weekend well then have to go in Monday morning to have shot. God I hope I surge on own. Always have but now the waiting it killing me.

Got Pap Test results back today an it was all clear. THANK GOD..
