IUI Sept 13-19
well ladies maybe this is just wishful thinking...but lol i'm all for it...anyone wanna join me in the joys of an upcoming iui in sept...would love to hear about ya alls trials and tribulations...i'm gonna be doing my first injectible cycle with lupron and then follistim 300...not sure how everything will go with this being my first shot at injectibles...here's to hopin i don't overstim...if everything works right then i can actually commiserate with all of you joining this thread...with clomid i always was hit or miss and very late to o when it worked..this seems a little bit more...controlled i guess. if all goes well i will be doing b2b iui's the latter half of the 3rd week in sept...

ugh...i thought so but it still sucks lol.. the only fertility medicine my insurance covers is....(drumroll) clomid and all generic versions lol
and they cover almost all bcp..wth!..isn't that special...really hopin this one works lol (like i wasn't the last 4 times) sigh naomi

me again...injection classes tomorrow...is this just like what it sounds like? lol...the one re there actually showed me how to do my ovidrel trigger...is this also about mixing the meds, and actual times to start them or??? thanx just gettin nervous i guess

When I had my follistem class she just showed me how to use the pen and how to change the cartiridge if you were mid dose when the cartridge went empty. They had this little practice skin to practice injecting. She showed me how to switch the needles on the pen. That's all I remember about it. I think she went over all the risks with using the injectibles. I remember having the selective reduction talk at the same time. I think we just went over what the follistim actually did and how it worked. It was pretty straight forward. Good luck!

Yes, the morning sickness is really starting to set in. Some times I feel great, and other times - like now, I feel like I just have to distract myself so I don't yack! I agree, I really hope my u/s goes well and I get to see a heartbeat. I'm trying to not get my hopes up too high until I see that heartbeat. It's so scary (as you know) the first few weeks. I'll be 7 weeks at my u/s so I should be able to see a nice heartbeat. I will never forget the day we saw my son's. I have everything crossed for you that you have the same luck when you start your injections!! (Or you don't need them because you get a BFP before that).

morning sickness is a good sign lol(at least we all try to tell ourselves that) but i think it is...i think you will hear a heartbeat...great stuff!...i don't think we will get a bfp before the injectibles as they have put me on bcp and then i start the lupron(suppression?) in the 2nd week of bcp..they want to do this first cycle with the most control in case i really take off with the follistim...i have so many follies in there it would be octomom or ohss for sure...i cried when the np talked about selective reduction so that didn't help my case as they know i could not do it...anyway good luck good luck good luck

I am looking towards an IUI on September 4. This will be my first IUI. Last month I was on clomid for 5 days and then I had a shot of HGC on the 12th day and we were trying on our own. It obviously didn't work but we are trying to stay positive.

dylansmommy is it good to see you again!! carolinewood nice to meet ya! Aphrodite I'm  for you and your little one!I had to take a month off per my md. He started me on the Perganol injections this month. I'm kinda nervous about getting shots every day. If it works it will be something that I probably wont remember compared to the reward. I have my first us tomr. I probably will have my iui around the 10-12. I'm really excited! Hope to hear more in the near future!

waiting4news welcome back and good luck..hope your u/s shows all is going well...i'm nervous about the injections too lol i only had to do one the entire ttc process and now i will be doing 2 a day...if you've never done shots they don't hurt least the one i did did not lol..you can get your dh to do them for you or even ask your nurse if it is convenient to run in...lots of luck to you

starting to get nervous about multiples ladies lol...watching all the shows on tv etc...and then i go to our own bfp thread and read it from beginning to end ...and i feel better..you ladies are just good like that lol...reading everyones post and then seeing the outcome in the siggies of those who update was really reassuring...it actually seemed like there was a higher number of twins from clomid users lol ...only a small percentage of trips...is exactly what they tell you at the re's office but seeing the individual outcomes makes it more real...i would take whatever we get and my re knows that...which is why if we have too many follies on my good side(4)they would definitely cancel...i think when i started crying in the office when they go over reductions was kinda the clincher for that lol..can't help it...but then you see the reality shows where ladies have 2-3-4 and how tiny they are or about the ones that don't make it or the months in the nicu...is just so much to wrap your head around...sorry just had to get that off my chest..well can't wait to start my lupron monday night...so here i am wishing the weekend to hurry up!lol
