It will be delivered this morning so I will just use a needleless syringe. I took the trigger yesterday. I plan to do one insemination at 24 hours post-trigger and the other at 36 hours. I don't know if I should alter the timing due to the fact that it is a vagial insemination with frozen sperm. Any advice is appreciated. I don't know how long it would take the sperm to get to the tubes?? Oh well. Its worth trying with all of these follies.

Do you guys plan to POAS? If so, when?

Hey Allij- Hang in there! Everyone is different and you're moving in the right direction. Grow follies, grow!

I was a very slow responder last month but this month my body seemed to understand the program as I ovulated on CD11 (which is the earliest ever for me). When I went in for my last b/w & u/s on Fri before the IUIs, I had 5 follies at 13, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20. My e2 was at 991.

I don't think the 13 will come to fruition but was really happy to see the other four made it to the end.

The IUIs were good, only mild cramping while she inserted the catheter. I didn't feel anything at all last month but this month I felt some pressure because of all of the follies. Afterwards I was totally fine and proceeded with throwing my DH a birthday party with family.

The nurse did warn me though, and it has been true, that my breasts would be sore...way more than normal given that my e2 level was two times more than last month. They hurt so bad I can't touch or sleep on them. Ouch!! She also said to expect more cramping over the next two weeks and more bloating. I haven't experienced those yet but at least I'll know to look for them as a side effects of treatment.

The tww is the hardest part. I just that we all end up with s this month!

Hi ladies sorry I've been MIA past couple of days I was on vacation. Had my u/s yeseterday (CD12) and had three mature follies. Triggered yesrterday morning and my IUI is today at 1:45pm. I've had a lot of crapming last night hopefully it wasn't ovulation.

MaraG- . I remeber you from the clomid board. Good luck with your IUI today today! Mine is today as well - totally cycle buddies!


Babyshim- so glad your IUI went well. I will be joining you in your 2ww soon. Oh and for your list my dates are: IUI 09/08/09; POAS 09/22/09.

Itemplin - DH and I also plan to do one more (3dr IUI) if this one doesn't work out. will get BFP this time around though!

shannobananno- i plan to pOAS at 14dpIUI which falls on 9/22/09. Good luck with your IUI. i haven't had iUI with frozen sperm so not sure how they time insemenation. I think 24 and 36 hr post trigger sounds about right.

Lindy123-wow you had a lot of follies. My RE would have tried to convince you to cancel the cycle! Hope many follies give you a good chence of getting

Itemplin - I hope everything went well with the IUI!! Did you know the sizes of your follies and how many?

BabyShim - That sucks about the extra money just because it was a holiday. I didn't think my clinic was opened for the holiday but the lady who drew my blood this morning said that they were super busy yesterday. Go figure...It is so funny that you have your POAS date scheduled already! Thanks for the cheers! I think all of that cheering has worked!

Skyhope and MaraG - I am so excited for you guys! Good luck and lots of your way! that this is it for you two!!

So I went in this am for more b/w and u/s and here is what we found:
Left Ovary: 10mm, 11mm, and 12mm
Right Ovary: 13mm
Lining: 8.2
E2: 971!!!

What in the world?! So the nurse called and told me to lower my dosage back to 150iu for tonight and come in the morning to see what happens. So, this is getting to be quite interesting. So we will see...

Hi! I will probably have my 2nd IUI either Friday or Saturday of this week so I'm joining in.
For this IUI I've done 150 mg clomid for days 5-9, 75 iu gonal-f days 9-12, u/s day 13 and hopefully trigger and have IUI#2 on Friday or Saturday.
I'm really praying for this to be the month. My mom has a trip planned for Europe in June of next year so if the IUI isn't successful this month she wants me to wait another month or two to try again so she won't be out of the country when the baby comes.

I went in this morning for U/S - not ripe just yet. Lining is at 8.1 and left ovary has 3 follies - 7,8, and 9. She couldn't see my right very clearly - said bowels were in the way. Guess I really am just "full of crap"! LOL

Anyway, go back tomorrow for another u/s - hoping to get a more definite IUI date then.

Hey ladies, do u mind if i join you? I am being surprised this month and having an IUI! I went for a follicle check so we could just check everything, and then we were gonna schedule my surgery, and well the doc says he cant fit me in for my surg til next month, so he offered to do a free insam. on friday! So guess im joining. Dont know if i really have any hope, i mean ive done 6 already. I went to a psychic in july, he said id be preggers by october, so it would be weird if it did.
The doc thinks my best shot is ivf, but we cant afford to move on until january when our debt is paid, so just relaxing now...Goodluck ladies!

Hi ladies - i had my IUI earlier this afternoon. He had a hard time putting the catether through my cervix this time (last time there were no issues) so it was a bit uncomfortable. Count was 23mil motility 40%. I opted to try new progesterone suppositories - Endometrin this time around. Last month I was on Crinone and hated it. Hopefully this one works out better.

robandsamduke-my mom went to a psychic few months ago and was told I'd get pregnant in Septmeber of this year. I'm not really into that type of stuff but being desperate as I am - it strangely gives me some hope...good luck with your IUI!

skyhope- i get where ur coming from, i dont know if i really believe it in. My friend went(was trying to conceive after 3 miscarriages) and the psychic told her when she would,and it really happend! shes 4 months now, she normally miscarried at 2 months.
so i went and he said id be preggers by october, and that id have 3 healthy kids total! again dont know if im convinced but it strangely put me at ease

Skyhope, congrats on a successful IUI. Sorry to hear that it hurt this time around. I have a tilted cervix so it's always a little uncomfortable for me when they twist and turn the speculum to get in in the right position. :-/ But, I'd go through pain 1,000x worse for that elusive BFP.

Hello Ladies!
Had my first IUI today. I think it went well. RE said that the sperm had poor motility at first but post wash said the were "zipping around".
Had some spotting and mild cramping this evening. I think that this is normal, I have an extremely tilted uterus , so he had some twisting and what not to get the speculum in.

Skyhope- it is nice to know that we share the same day!! Happy to hear it went ok for you.

Now the 2ww begins!!
