robandsamduke - A free IUI? Doesn't get any better than FREE, does it?

So, I had my appointment this morning and we are still waiting for the E2 #'s. Yesterdays 971 had me a little nervous. And my largest follie was only 13mm.
My lining is still at 8.
Right: 5 follies - 10mm, 10mm, 11mm, 12mm, and 14mm
Left: 4 follies - 10mm, 10mm, 11mm, and 15mm

The nurse said this morning that if we can get to 18mm by Friday then the B2B IUI's will be this weekend! Keep cheering BabyShim!

Hey ya'll! I just got a call from the nurse and my E2 is a whopping 1,547. Wowsa! So they are going to lower my dosage to 75iu. I have to go in the morning for b/w and u/s.

Congratulations MaraG on your 1st IUI (and hopefully your last). Did you resume normal activity? I have taken the day off on Friday in the hopes of triggering tomorrow night.

Had another ultrasound today. Not there just yet again - 9.1 lining, 3 follicles on each ovary - biggest ones at 11 and 12. She said probably 2 more days of injections and then trigger Friday for IUI's this weekend.

Good luck to all that have already had their IUI's - may the 2ww pass by quickly!

on your e2! You have a ton of follies growing right now and they're all sticking together in size.

You have to update us on how your appt went this morning!

I'm feeling normal, which is good! I'm only 5DPO so I'm trying (not successfully) to not obsess during the 2WW. Because I had such a good cycle meds wise, I'm really nervous to POAS this month. I usually break down around 14DPO which will be 9/19 so we'll see if I can go through with it!

I'm also doing acupuncture (started end of July) and that has really helped me this week with my breast tenderness and lower back pain. I feel good.

Happy Thursday Everybody!!

I wen to the doctor's office this morning and after 2 nights on 75iu this is what we saw:

Lining: 8.6

Right Ovary: 7 follicles - 10mm, 10mm, 10mm, 10mm, 12mm, 13mm, 15mm

Left Ovary: 8 follicles: 11mm, 11mm, 11mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 14mm, 15mm

So we are possibly going to do 1 more night of stims and then Ovidrel on Friday night depending on the E2 of course but we will get that info later on today.

Meredmo7 - Are you on Follistim? Gonal? What's your dosage? I think you and I will be together on the dates so I am

for your follies to GROW GROWS GROW!!!

Well I had my day 13 u/s today and as the nurse put it “you’ve stalled out”. I guess basically I’m not responding to the clomid or the gonal-f. They said there are a bunch of little follicles but nothing that they can truly count. My feeling is that it is too soon. I normally don’t ovulate until day 16 or so. Anyway they told me to finish up the rest of the gonal-f today and tomorrow and then do another u/s Saturday morning. It’s just weird that I had one good sized egg last time on a low dose of clomid and then this time they bump up the clomid and add in the gonal-f and nothing!!! So frustrating!

Well i am quite shocked this week, lol. Ive been off clomid since April, and just did Ovulation tests at home, and i normally ov. on day 17. Which is a late ovulater. Well i went to the doc on tues. to check my eggs since its my first month back on clomid, and the doc offered to do iui fri. for free....guess as a last hoorah. Well i was thinking wow hes not gonna check some more or anything, hes just gonna go blind on fri? I wont even be ovulating, well out of curiousity i took an O. test and got a positive. So i thought i went from not thinking of it at all and not really giving this a chance to feeling a little nervous. It just seems as if things are getting in place. I had a psychic tell me in june id be preggers by oct.(which i dont think i believe that stuff much) but all of a sudden im offered a free insam.? then i ovulate earlier than normal....i dont know if im trying to find hope in nothing but hey im getting there

Samantha: Sounds like things are really falling into place for you! That's awesome! I am like you, I normally ovulate later then most so I'm hoping my poor u/s results from this morning are just because it's too early. Can't wait to hear how things go...baby dust

thanks ecb! yea i normally ovulate late...so im sure its just to early for you!!! it'll get better...ive done 6 of these already, so im always weird!! But this time it just seems conveniant when im not trying and stressing, hmm

ecb2030 - What dose of Gonal are you on? I totally understand how you are feeling. I had similar issues after Day 7 with Gonal, little to no growth. But things are going to turnaround for you!!!

I got a call from the nurse. My E2 is 2,708. LH jumped from 7 to 35 in 1 day. So it's Trigger Time! Will take the Ovidrel shot tonight between 9 and 12 and have the 1st of the B2B's on tomorrow morning at 9:45am. Finally!!!!

Hey Lindy123 - You have to take the Ovidrel shot twice? How come?

allijbutler: I did 112 iu on CD10 and then 75 iu on CD11-14. I was supposed to start on CD 9 with 75 iu but the medicine didn't get to my house in time. Are there any tricks to help make follicles grow?

meredmo7--That is so funny. You know I had to go to the bathroom the other day right before my u/s but I waited and I wondered whather they would know;-)

What kind of surgery will you be undergoing? I can't sleep either. I am not usually superstitious but, like you, when it comes to this stuff, I take everything as a sign. The stars must be aligned:-)

skyhope--We're on the same schedule! Wow, that count and motility sounds good. I think luck is on your side.

Mara--You're on the same schedule as well, cycle buddy! This is the hardest part.

The nurse said that this month I won't have to (I did last month though). It is supposed to help (along with the progesterone suppository) to increase your lining.

It's weird though because I think my lining was actually thicker last month. This month I was a little over 9 before I did my IUIs.

It will be 2nd laproscopy if i dont get a BFP this time....i think were gonna do the surg. first part of oct. and then do one more insam. if it doesnt take think we'll hold off until next summer and start ivf, the doc thinks that will guarntee a baby, we just cant afford it at the moment!
Im trying to behave and drink all water today, i dont ever drink water, i mean ever! i figure if my body is hydrated and energized it may help me tomorrow!! please let this work!!!
