IUI Sept 6th-Sept. 12
Hello, I see there is a thread for cycle buddies right before the 6th and another for after the 12th. Will anyone be cycling the 2nd week of September? We can be cycle buddies.

Hello there!
I just started spotting today wich means  is on her way, guessing she will be in full force by tomorrow. That means my 2nd IUI cycle will most likely fall around the 8/9 Sep! Hoping 2nd time brings more luck! Hoping for lots of BFP's on here...

 I am on Day 2. This is my first IUI. After two failed IVF/ICSI, we decided to move on to donor sperm. I really hope this works for both of us . I start clomid tommorow. Trying not to spend every waking moment thinking about this!

Hi Ladies,
Looks like I'll be joining you! just showed up which means my first IUI cycle was a bust. I didn't have a ton of hope though since I only really developed one good follie last time. Here's hoping that we all get a  this time!

Hi ladies! Well
showed up last Friday so I will be doing round 3 of an IUI around September 9th or 10th. I'm hoping it works this time!! I wish all of you luck and we all get good news this cycle!!! to all of you!!

Hey ladies. I just got back from my day 3 bw/us. Do you think its bad that I am already making a back-up plan in case this doesn't work? I always have to have a plan!!! So, I'm meeting with my RE to discuss moving directly into IVF if this IUI doesn't work. And that simply has to work. I'll be done gambling at that point. However, I do feel pretty good about this cycle but 25% is a rather low probability. OK, enough. I need to keep myself busy!!

Hey Everybody!!! Can I join in on the fun? This will be my 1st IUI ever. I am starting off with injectibles (Gonal-F). I tried Clomid for a few rounds and nothing. This morning I went for my cd2 bloodwork and ultrasound and I am clear to begin Gonal F on tomorrow night at 150 units. I am so excited!!

allijbutler - good luck with your first IUI! shannobananno- I know exactly what you mean about having a back-up plan. Talked to RE today and we agreed to do two more IUI's before moving on to IVF. I really hope it works but honestly I've been so bummed out and negative that I'm not holding out much hope for this cycle. Last IUI had 4 follies and still nothing  DMR74- Hope third time is the charm for you! Lindy123 - Hopefully you have more that one follie this time around. But it only takes one!! Good luck! AFM: showed up yesterday at 17dpIUI (thanks to progesterone). I had my CD2 u/s today and I'm good to go move fwd with IUI#2 which will most likely fall on 09/09/09! Oh wow i just realized the dates all 9's...hopefully that's my lucky number!

ALLIJ- I will be on day 2 of clomid today. Looks like my IUI will happen on Labor Day. Trying to be patient. I also recently quit smoking-- . Sunday I'm splurging on a massage!!! That will center me. Hope y'all have a great weekend!

Ladies, I am sorry I haven't posted in a while. I don't think this cycle is going to be my time.....last Thursday I had to have emergency surgery.....removal of my appendix.....boy am I in pain
Now I'm not sure if I can still have my IUI on Sept 10th or not.....I my RE says we can still try. I had laposcopic surgery where they went through my belly button....I only have two small incisions. I came home from the hospital today...gonna call RE tomorrow and ask him about how this will affect me TTC....I will keep you posted! I hope all of you have success this cycle!!! Hello Ladies - guess I'll join you all here.
showed up for me yesterday. I thought that I would be skipping IUI for the month of Sept due to vacation, but according to the calendar I will get back home on CD12 and I talked to my Dr this morning and will be having an u/s on CD13 and most likely IUI on CD14 (Sept 12). I have a question: How many IUI's do you ladies plan on trying before moving onto to IVF or something else? I've heard that after 4 IUI's the likelyhood of it working drops. So at this time I'm planning on trying up to 4 and then switching to IVF if necessary. That's partly due to the fact that I'll be 40 in Oct and feel like time is running out. & to us all.

DMR74 - Sorry to hear about that! I hope that you feel better soon and that you can get back on track with the babymaking!
Hockeygrl - My RE told us to try 3. I am praying that the first one takes and that will be all we need. But we started off on the IVF trail and then insurance made us back track to IUI since we have never tried it. I have heard the same thing about the probabilities of it working after 4 tries diminishes but then again, I look at some of the sigs of the ladies who have had over 4 IUI's and there are some success stories. Just wondering if anyone doing Injectables? I am on cd5 with Gonal-F. I have an appointment in the AM to check the progress with B/W and U/S!!

good luck allijbutler with the gonal-f..hope you get good news hockeygirl glad you don't have to skip sept...my re suggest more aggressive treatment with what they call advanced maternal age (they have a name for everything lol) but price is always a factor and iui can work for you as well as anyone ..just have to try and see my re also says 2-3 iui's typically gets the best results and then they decline good luck dmr ugh i hope your recover from your surgery and you are well enough to continue for this cycle...but if not please take time to recover and definitely good luck to you skyhope good luck with the trip 9's that would be too cool shannobananno good luck ..iui on labor day lol how appropriate. I hope it brings about your "labor day" lindy good luck just wanted to say hi and good luck to all on this thread naomi
