Thanks Alison! I am glad I took the whole day off too. i was a wreck. I have now moved onto at least now I have a diagnosis and maybe things can move forward. I am still hoping and praying this cycle works out!

I am so upset and irritated right now. I work in a medical office and we just had this girl come in with her 2 month old baby boy for a check up, her mom came with her and the baby's mom seemed like she didn't even care about her baby. The grandmother was holding the baby the whole time. The baby's mom is only 21 and she was acting like she is 12. She kept complaining and whining the whole time they were here. This is a girl who was upset when her OB told her she wasn't allowed to go TANNING when she was 6 months pregnant! I cannot imagine why someone like that who is clearly not mature enough to take care of a baby is able to get pg when other people like me are trying for years to conceive with no success. My dh and I are good honest people. We work hard, we are responsible and we know how much love and affection we could give to a baby. It breaks my heart.

How is everyone doing? Tomorrow is my last day of clomid then I will start doing my OPK on Friday. I really hope we all end up with a this cycle. Sometimes it feels like it will never happen but every month I see people get their so I know my turn is coming up. Hope everyone has a great week!

Hi everyone,

I started my 75 units of gonal last night. Hoping that this dose works for me. I have tried this 3 other times and each time the dose is too high or too low. Frustrating. I should be having my IUI sometime the week of the 21st. Good luck to you all.

Alison, it looks like we're on an almost identical schedule! I have a diagnostic U/S scheduled for Thursday morning, and my IUI should happen on Sunday the 20th.

I usually O earlier in my cycle (CD12). Of course the 20th is a Sunday and the RE's office is only open until about noon that day so I'll have my IUI sometime in the morning. I hope that's not too early

Just wanted to drop in and say HI! I took CLomid 100 mg day 3-7. I took my last dose on 9-12-09 and now I have to take Follistim 150 mg this evening! I thought I was over the shots after IVF but it looks like I will be doing injectibles again. Sigh. No side effects to speak of with the clomid so I guess that is good. I have a follie check on 9-17 and will take ovidrel after that and do either timed intercourse or IUI. I am still undecided?

Nelly - that's pretty exciting that we are on the same schedule. I took clomid cd 5-9 my last 3 IUIs so not sure if I will O sooner this cycle since taking it cd 3-7. Good luck on your u/s and IUI. I think my IUI will be around 9/22.

Can I join, eventhough my IUI will be like week later?... I'm just dropping out of the running for this cycle. took an HPT today and got a BFN, AF should be here any minute, she's due today. It's on to IUI #1 for us.... which should be around the end of Sept/beginning of October.....

This will be my first IUI.... Does most everyone use Clomid for IUI? I'll be on Follistim

clomid is often prescribed to begin with depending on whether there are any female issues. There are lots of girls on here that use follistim and other injectables. Sometimes they start on them straight away and sometimes they try clomid for a couple cycles then move onto injectables of no luck. Injectables generally have a better success rate because they can produce more follicles but you have to be very careful that you don't become overstimulated (OHSS) so you will need frequent ultrasounds. Some of your names looks familiar. I think we may have been on a cycle together. As you can see from my signature... I have had it kind of rough in 2009. My new RE has determined one more IUI and see "how it goes' before IVF in January. So, here I am!

I start my clomid 50mg tomm and IUI should be around 23rd.

If any of you girls have questions let me know. I am unfortunately quite experienced with the IUI process, the symptoms and getting a positive. Hopefully this one will work and stay.

It looks like we will all be getting ready to do iuis soon!! I have another u/s and bw on Thurs. I am not all that hopeful that I had any growth since it seems to take forever. I will be glad when I don't have to do clomid anymore!
