Hi Alison. Probably. I was on a January IUI thread and a May IUI thread. This thread should be starting to get busy soon! It is always a nail biter with all the results coming in!

Me-Denise- 39- fsh of 4.7-6.2, all clear. Tiny cervix may be the culprit or just old. I don't know. DH-Jason-35 Perfect 3 cute Chihuahua babies. We live in Texas. Jan 21, 2009 First RE appt All test good. FSH, Clomid Challenge, HSG Feb 2, 2009 IUI #1 February 15, 2009  March 2nd. 6wks Cramping. blood, Beta 500  IUI #2 May 2009 June 22nd Sonogram. Heartbeat. Measuring 6 days small though  June 29th #2 Devistated.Work up and NEW RE: Batter of tests -Everything checks out fine. Only blip is IGM medium positive, which has nothing to do with anything. Bad luck? one more IUI then maybe IVF with PGD IUI#3 10/8 POAS  IVF#1 and hopefully my last 10/28 Materal Fetal Medicine 2nd opinion on IGM positive on test that was found. Nov 4th Start BCP for Antagonist IVF protocol Nov 21st Start Stims 300 Gonal F and 150 Menopur

hi everyone, this is my first post as i just joined this forum. i am planning on my 2nd iui to fall in this range (9/20-27). i go in for a u/s sunday morning to check follicles, and hopefully will have my first ovidrel shot at this time.
i have not been happy with my re, but none of this process is fun, so am hoping for the best. i wondered if anyone had success with my plan for this month: clomid 50mg day 5-9 and ovidrel followed by iui? i also wondered about requesting progesterone be prescribed as i wait for  or . what do you think?really hoping to get my family started finally....

Me: 31, short luteal phase (9-10d), otherwise unexplained infertility Hubby: 31, some motility and morphology issues 12/07: began trying to convince hubby to ttc  4/08: stopped taking bcp 8/08: hubby agreed to start ttc 9/08-5/09 timed intercourse 5/09: vist to RE 7/09: 8dpo progesterone 11.3 7/09: clomid 50mg and IUI unmonitored sa: 21 million with 80% motility 9/09: clomid 50mg, u/s and ovidrel with IUI 3 mature follicles: 17.5, 21, 31 sa: 23million with 90% motility 8dpiui p4: 21.8 spotting at day 10,11, 12. 10/09: hsg all clear! clomid 50mg, u/s and ovidrel with IUI 4 mature follicles: 16, 19, 20, 21; BUT lining 4mm sa: 30million with 90% forward progress

Hi.
All my previous IUI's were day 5-9 with clomid. First time on 100 mg I made 5 eggs. Second time on 50 mg I made 2. I did an ovidrel shot both times as well. So many variables go into this thing. Its more than the sperm and the egg meeting. Is the egg shell too tough? Are there pelvic issues preventing the fertilized egg from getting down the tubes? Its amazing any of us are here. Good luck to you. This may be it! I have always had a high enough progesterone number after ovulation (they blood test it) so I did not do prometrium till I knew I was pregnant. Prometrium gives pregnancy symptoms and I am not a big fan of taking things I don't need. I do read that a ton of women though take prometrium with IUI's starting that day. I would listen to your doctor on that one. It prepares the lining for a good implantation if it is needed.

Clomid isn't really my thing since I have ever only producd 1 follicle and I am on 200 mg and take it up to 3 times a cycle! Stupid insurance makes me do it. I am hoping next cycle I will do injectibles.
My doctor has me on crinone after the iui to help with implantation...they never check my levels. Don't know why?!

Hi ladies! I am going to jump in on your thread! I am CD8 currently and on follistim. This is my second cycle and praying for a BFP this month!!! Looks like I'm most likely going to be having my IUI's after the 20th. I had my u/s this morning and I have 1 follie at 14, 12, and a few at 11mm right now.
Hope you all are doing well in your cycles! Lots of baby dust!

I'm joingin this thread too
 I'm on CD3, taking 25mg of Femara tonight and then starting Follistim Friday. My next u/s and labs will be on the 23rd so I'm expecting to do the IUI on the 24th or 25th. We are  that it will work this time. Hopefully we see lots of in this thread!

Today is cd 9 for me so I am just waiting until Friday to start my OPK. Looks like this board is starting to get busy, hopefully we will see lots of
this round!! I always think the first 2 weeks of the cycle go by pretty fast but the 2ww is dreadfully slow. Hopefully the time will pass quickly. Good luck to everyone!!

Hi everyone,
I'm CD7. I had my ultrasound this AM. I think I should be ready for my IUI sometime early next week. I took Gonal F 75 units for 3 days and 37.5 last evening. I'm waiting for my blood work results from this AM.

Ugh...no growth as of yet. This is so frustrating. I go back on Monday if nothing then more clomid. I am still hoping to have my iui next week, but it is not looking good.

Clomid has proven to be a positive experience for me! My doc called and we are going through with IUI on 9-19! I will trigger tonight at 10 PM. The doc says he wished he would have used clomid for IVF. LOL My body just responded so much better to it!
That is so strange though? I did not respond that well to the Follistim and Luveris!
