Deanie -

I was just reading your post again.... I don't know how I missed it (i'm rubbish at reading comprehension!!!) but I am so sorry to hear about your chemical pg. I hadn't been on in quite some time so in my head, no time had passed since we last chatted, thinking you were gearing up for your 1st IUI since April.

You are in my thoughts..... HUGE to you.... time is a wonderful healer.

oh gosh, it's okay. It's my fault really because I wasn't on the boards for the last IUI, I was crazy busy. But I was off last cycle and look to go for another IUI in late September/early October. Maybe we can cycle again! Big hugs to you and all our girls. You're all in my heart.

GREAT news today!

Hello ladies -

I've was pretty stressed out at the last time I did an IUI - mainly because they told me I was going to be moving on to injections of Gonal F once I started back up again. Translation = $1300 per Gonal F pen. Insanity!!!

However, today my insurance company called and said that if I move over to Follistim (which my dr. said was pretty much the same thing), it will only be.........

$85 per pen!!!! HOLY CRAP! What a HUGE load off my mind..... DH and I had thought we could only do the injections 2 times before we had to stop.... but now, to not have the extra added stress of "I only have 2 timess to make this happen" is sureal.

Probably starting up at the end of Sept/early Oct - getting excited!!!

to all you lovely ladies!!!

Wow Kara, that is amazing news!! I am so happy for you. I can't believe the price is so much less for follistim. I also can't believe that your insurance company called you!! Usually it takes call after call and waiting on hold and being transferred to different people in order to get my questions answered. I have been really worried about the cost of injectables. I will have to call my insurance and see if any of them are covered.

Bistro - I have the same issues with my friends and family with them telling me how good I am in dealing with all of this. If they only knew how heartbreaking and difficult this has been. I just don't break down in front of them so I guess they don't really understand how it affects me.

I just wanted to let you all know I'm praying for you all!! I got my BFP on my 5th IUI w/donor sperm and I know very well the feeling of thinking there is no end in sight and I pretty much thought that there was no way a BFP was going to happen for us with IUI.

I'm praying for BFP's for all of you and praying they come soon!!

I'm happy to be here to cheer you all on

Thanks ladies! At the end of the day, $85 is still an absurd amount of money for a drug.... but I'll take it ANY DAY OF THE WEEK over $1300!

RobandSam - you have some REALLY good insurance! Good for you! It's so stressful having to go through this already, never mind the financial stress on top of it all. It's nice to know you don't have to worry about it!

IrishKelly - Thanks!! Yeah, I am hoping this time is the one.... but if it isn't, that is ok, too... I just have to stay positive.

Deanie - I REALLY hope we are able to cycle together. If everything goes as planned, I am due to get around Sept 30th.... which would put me for an IUI around mid Oct.... That would be cool to go through this again together.

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend.... enjoy your friends & family..... and try not to think *too* much!

Thanks for your support Kristen, it is really nice to have others cheering us on. I can't believe you are almost 15 weeks already! I am so excited to hear about your next ultrasound and if your intelligender test was correct.

I am just waiting to get my lh surge so hopefully it will happen in the next couple days.

I did call my insurance today just to investigate the cost for some injectables. I was told they are covered 50% so I'm not really sure what that amounts to since I haven't checked prices with any pharmacies yet. Hopefully I won't have to worry about it if I get pg this cycle.

Hi Ladies,

I have been feeling incredibly down today for some reason, so I thought I would post here again for the 3+ers. I guess I could use some encouraging words, some sympathy and some people to commiserate with!!! I'm just feeling like if the last 2 didn't work, then why on earth would this one? DH has always been told his count was normal, but this time we had a low total motile count - probably because we a lot, but it was under 10million for both b2b IUIs and I know that lowers the chances.

I just don't get it! They haven't found a **** thing wrong with either of us. Why am I not getting pregnant????? I need a reason or I need to have a baby in my belly already!! I am going to lose it!!

OK - enough ranting. Thanks for reading this and stay strong ladies! Stronger than I am right now!! LOL. I guess we all need to have our bad days!
