I just tak an HPT and got my BFN! Onto IUI for October! Anyone else IUI-ing in Oct?

I will have my first IUI w/ Letrozole around the end of september first of october. Very excited! What drugs, if any, are you on? When do you start them? I feel very optimistic...which is a good change from what I have felt in a while!

I'll be doing Follistim with Ovidrel, most likely, considering my fridge is comepletely full of them! haha! Sorry I hadn't written anything, AF was being tricky and trying to hide from me.... but I believe she arrived this morning, be able to tell you for sure later, So I should be doing my IUI around the 1st of October. I don't know how much Follistim I'll be on, usually I'm on 75 for 5 days and then 150 for 3 or 4 days, and that only gives my ONE follie.... so I'm assuming I'll start on 150 maybe? I don't know.

AF always seems tricky to me! It's like those tampon commercials where she's always trying to trick you or catch you off guard! She's kinda mean...I guess thats why she looks like this !
A fridge full of meds is a good thing I guess...at least you don't have to worry about that financial part this month! Where do you by your meds? Local pharm ot oversees? We don't have fertility coverage so we have to pay for everything out of pocket. I hear Letrozole is sometimes covered though because its not a "fertility" drug. We'll see I guess.

hi ladies looks like i may be able to join you in an october iui as well although mine will fall more towards the end of the month and that is only if my baseline u/s shows no residual cysts...really hopin the lupron and the provera do there job and make them bad boys calm down lol...i should have been going in for iui#2 around today and tomorrow but was canceled due to overstimming with follistim so this time around we are gonna try 75 iu dose to start with while taking the lupron and hope the godzilla ovaries don't come back lol...sorry been a rough week...still feel really bloated and uncomfortable they were really afraid of a severe case of ohss ...i won't complain(but i want to lol)at least i know my ovaries are still workin but sometimes a little cooperation would be nice ...we have been doing this since jan of this year and have yet to ovulate more than once so i would just like to have one more shot at getting the egg and sperm in the same darn room ....period lol...if this doesn't work again lol i think we will seriously consider if we will try an ivf cycle since i know we should get a lot of eggs then at least i may have a few attempts at fet...
someone asked about where to buy meds if paying out of pocket...my insurance does not cover anything but the clomid and provera (clomid does not work for me)my re's office uses schraft's pharmacy out of nj and they are great...free overnite ship and the prices seem competitive with the discount "club" they have...i have heard of some people using ivfmeds and having a good experience ...i guess it depends on what meds you are using and how fast you need them...
lol flashgal that is funny about the fridge full of meds i just had some more follistim delivered today to try again but we still have the ovidrel and my lupron(yay)you know i figured since my cycle was canceled that would at least allow me a few weeks away from the injections but no they think there is a small window to hop right back in so i have to inject the lupron straight through the next few weeks lol...no rest for the weary ttc ladies

I have TriCare becaus emy DH is in the military. Tricare will pay for everything until you get to IUI. They do not pay for IUI, but my RE pre-ordered the meds, because once we do IUI, they won't pay for stims any more. So that's why I'm so stocked up. 6 cartridges of Follistim. But I am paying $500 per cycle for IUI, and IVF would be $12K to $15K for me. IF it gets to that we may adopt. Who knows. But I'm hoping this IUI will work fo rme! RE told me IUI is actually MORE successful than IVF.... and better chance of multiples, EEK!! (kind of excited about the possibility of twins, nervous to have any more than that)..... Anyways, I'm on 150 of Follistim starting Saturday thru Tuesday, Then Wednesday morning I go in for B/W & U/S to check on my follies. The maybe more stims... we'll see.

I am going to be doing my first IUI the end of this month or beginning of October. I just have to wait for .

So my husband and I did 2 IVF's with one doctor who gave us a 1% chance of conceiving naturally and only a 3% chance with IUI.

After the last IVF failed I did some more research on this particular doctor and I found some really bad reviews. He told them the exact same story that he told me.

We went to another doctor who did more tests on me and found everything was normal and said we should try something less invasive and less expensive before moving to such extremes like IVF. He said we have about a 10% chance with IUI. So we are going to see what happens .

Hi ladies! I will join you. My third IUI will be on Sept 29 provided I have the right size/number of follicles. My u/s for follicle check will be 9/27.

I am on 75IU Follistim on CD 3, 4, & 6 plus 100mg Clomid days 3-7 and a trigger shot 36 hours before the IUI. This is the same protocol I have been on for the past two IUIs and my doctor says I am "responding well...it's just a matter of time." So

Hi all.

I just had my CD3 ultrasound. This will be my first IUI. Last month we did just injectibles and timed intercourse so I figure why not throw IUI in there too?

I am going to do a clomid/ menopur mix this time in hopes to slow down my progression. I had to trigger CD 8 last time with just the menopur!

I think my IUI will prob be very late sept or beginning of October.
