IUI For #2
Hi everyone!! I am currently CD 10 and had my U/S this am. I am kinda bummed because it showed only one 18mm on the right, and about 5, 12mm ones between both ovaries. My lining was 11mm. I was told to take an additional follistim 150 tonight, trigger tommarrow, and go in Oct 1st for IUI.
This is my second iui. My first resulted in a BFP and now I have a beautiful 14 mth old. If I remember I had only 2 follies last time and they were 14-15. I don't want to put to much hope in this one but it is SOOOO HARD!!

Hi girls....I had my fourth iui today. I told myself that this time it is going to work. Most of the time I tell myself that its going to be okay if it doesn't work out and I am still really sad, so this time I am going to tell myself that this is the month! I just know it. Anyways, I had something strange happen today. Last Friday I went for the u/s and I had 2 follies on the right 19.4 and 13.8. I triggered on 12:30am Sunday morning and my iui was at 12:30pm today. My doc always does a u/s before the iui and the follies were not there anymore. He said that I had already ovulated and that the fluid proved that I had ovulated a couple hours before I arrived. Has anyone ever heard of this happening? I sure hope so. Let me know what you gals think.

Me-27 normal DH-31 Normal 06/28 HSG-all clear 5 months on clomid50mg 09/08iui#1 canceled they found a cyst in the ultrasound 12/08 Surgery to remove cyst...they ended up just leaving it in place. It is on the top of my uterus and not affecting my fertility 1/09 first iui-clomid 50mg and estrace 2/09 2nd iui-clomid and estrace 3/9/09 3rd iui attempted and cancelled. 4th IUI attempted- 4th iui cancelled. 3rd IUI 8/30 U/S 8/27 1follie 18mm.right side 8/29 HCG trigger u/s 8/30 1 follie 22mm right side. for a positive this time.9/15 4th IUI 9/25 u/s 2 follies 19.4mm and 13.8 left side 9/27 HCG trigger 12:30am 9/28 IUI 12:30 pm 17dpiui 3 hpt all  BETA 33921 dpiui BETA 1440 10/27 6week0days-u/s we saw the heartbeat 11/11 2nd ultrasound

Hi everyone
I just got my first IUI this morning. I only had one follie 22 mm on the left side and none on the right, so I'm not real confident on this one, but I didn't want to skip the cycle. Stacy I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you. Good luck to every one

Surfinkris, that sounds promising in a way! I haven't heard of it before but it could work out great. This way you're sure to know the eggs are out when the sperm comes in, hopefully this timing is perfect for you. *fingers crossed!*

Hello ladies,
I am new here but this thread caught my eye since I had back to back IUI's yesterday and today. My beta test is on Oct. 12th, which seems so far away! It looks like some others are testing that day too so hopefully there is some good news for someone!

As of 9:30am I am now inseminated! We had 184 million sperm...seriously?! How am I not pregnant yet? The doctor called my husband a "stud muffin"...I said "Don't pat him on the back until I'm actually pregnant!"

YAY JESSICA! Welcome to the 2ww! I wish I knew what my DH's count was, but my RE doesn't do a full analysis for IUI. I said there are basically five different levels for count. The highest is "abundant" and the next one down is "adequate".... My DH is adequate! So, he is a 4 on a scale of 1-5. I guess that's pretty good. How big were your follies?

I don't think I've ever heard of so many in one go, pretty good start. Flashgal, congrats on your IUI and adequate is mighty darn good imho. Best to you girls and fingers crossed this is your month.

Flashgal - for some reason my appointment is scheduled for 10/13 but I'll probably do an HPT on 10/12.

trigger tonight
Hi girls! Triggering tonight with ovidril at 10:15. What's everyone's thoughts on BD'ing aroung this time? Want to get a good sample for IUI on 10/1. I am so much more nervous this time around. Really not feeling my follies are good enough.

Briat - 10 years ago, my ob-gyn recommended giving 48 hours in between to let the sperm count get up, but I've seen a lot of articles lately the suggest the more often you do it the better off the sperm are.
I have also heard that some RE's recommend BD before and after IUI

Flashgal -- on my trigger day I had two mature (21 & 21.5) and then had three more that were 17, 18, 18 so they should have been mature by this morning.
And I think a 4 out of 5 is great! All you need is one.
