JESSICA, if you were using injectibles, all five of your follies are mature! Anything above a 16 with Follistim should be viable. My RE says even 14's and 15's can produce a viable egg after stims!

LORRIE, My RE says once a day is good, but any more than than and it starts to lessen the sample. Oh, and if you're going to POAS a day early, then I might too. I don't want to, cuz I'm afraid it will just be nagative, but I just really want to know!

Well we IUI'ed this morning. It wasn't as easy as a pap smear, but no where near as bad as the HSG. The RE surprised me and my husband by saying "I will be completely shocked if you don't get pregnant this cycle." I said "I'm not celebrating or getting excitied about anything, until I see a U/S with a little heartbeat. Then I will believe it and get very excitied." Has anyone experienced a RE or FS say something like this? Now the 2ww is on.

Laurel- My RE syas this stuff every cycle. I want to kick him. hahaha. The worst was one month he called me to tell my my b/w was negative for a pregnancy test.... these were his exact words... "I wanted to call you and tell you that you're finally pregnant..... but unfortunately I can't do that". OMG? What? Doesn't he know what he does for a living? I just had to laugh about it tho, luckily it didn't shock me too bad, I had already gotten a BFN on an HPT that morning.

My RE nurse is pregnant so everyone gets to rub her belly for luck. She told me today, 'this is it for you because you rubbed my belly!'

But for this cycle, I hereby do solemnly swear to NOT PEE ON A STICK until the 2ww is up! :lol: Not gonna do it, nope nope nope. Gonna be patient and wait.

Hi laides, can I join in? I think my IUI will be either this Sat on Sunday. I have my follie u/s check on Friday morning. This is my 3rd IUI so I'm trying to stay positive but it's so hard after 2 failed IUI's. Hope we get lots of BFP's on here. to all!

I am sending baby dust and sticky vibes to all the ladies for a BFP!!!! I will be praying for all of you. I am going in either Friday or Saturday for my IUI. I hope this time works as it is my 2nd try. I have to have will power to not do a HPT. The last time I was in tears when I found out it was negative. Good thoughts only I am telling myself.

Hi all!!! I should be going for our first IUI on Tuesday or so!!!! Can't wait for our BFP's ladies!!!!!!

Anyone else on their first IUI ( or 2nd, or 3rd, or 4th...) who is just so stoked that you can't even sleep at night? The night before my IUI, I only slept like two hours, I just kept tossing & turning and rubbing my pre-pregnant belly... And everyngiht I try to sleep since the IUI, just can't get my brain to stop doing all the math.. you know... how big the follies were at fertilization, when they'll implant, when I can test.... then I fast forward, and I think.. ooh, long-sleeve six mos. sized clothes, and short sleeved 12 months sized clothes. And christmas pictures, and how I'll try to keep my pregnancy a secret until christmas this year and find neat ways to break the news to family on Christmas morning....
Seriously, my brain won't stop.... *sigh* Ok, settle down Katherine!.. Only 12 more days till you can test! AHAHHHHH! 12 WHOLE DAYS?! I'll never make it! Aw, crap.

So, I have been really cranky the last two days and feel like I could snap at any moment. Today I almost snapped on some of my students. It is only two days past my iui and I feel like i am pmsing...i also have a cramping sensation down there. I hope this is not a sign that af is showing. Today is cd16, it has to be too soon for af to show. I feel like I am over thinking everything. Good luck to the rest of you that are doing your iui this week. I will be keeping my fingers crossed.
