Wow Flash that sounds so familiar. I posted last night after 1 a.m. to see if anyone else had sleeplessness as a side effect from the injectables but I am seriously leaning toward your theory. Everytime I close my eyes I'm seeing babies and wondering if my follies will be big enough on Friday, which room will I turn into a nursery, if I get pregnant this round I will have to be careful on the ice this winter, did I just feel a pain hope O isnt happening early The nerves and the anxiety are going to be the death of me. I am truely my own worst enemy and havent even done IUI yet, I can only imagine how bad I will be afterwards.

I haven't even IUI'd yet and cannot sop thinking about it, all of it!! Honestly though, I am sooo happy we're finaly going to take the next step. So, I have been in a GREAT mood. DH is happy about that

Glad to know I'm not alone in my sleeplessness! Last night I couldnt get my mind to stop running, so got out of bed and took Benadryl around midnight. It's so funny to me how none of us have ever met, we're completely different people, yet we all have the EXACT same thoughts and feelings! I can't wait to see the US tomorrow..praying for lots of big follies!!

Hi everyone!
I am new to this type of thing so bare with me as i learn how to post threads (is that what they are called?)

My husband and I have been married since April 2008. We bean trying to conceive instantly as we have been together for 9 years and i am 31. We have had some ups and downs let me tell you. I have been off birthcontrol since February 2008 and we started trying the old fashioned way. After 4 months of not getting pregnant i went to my gynecologist and she put me on 50mg of Clomid. We did this for 3 months and did progesterone bllod work each month. I was ovulating so we continued to try and figured we could do this based on timing. After almost a year of not getting pregnant we decided to see a Specialist. We have done it all- Clomid, Ovidrel, HSG, nothing, Ovidrel again, Laparoscopy and still no preganancy. We did our first IUI yesterday and had 4 mature follicles. Estrogen levels were 1200, and DH had 119 million sperm at 48% mobility. They sperm washed and inseminated me with 3.5 million sperm at 90% mobility. I guess i can say i am excited but dont want to be too hopeful. There is always that factor of dissapoiontment. After the procedure we Baby Danced last night and again this morning. The more the merrier right??? Well i have been somehwat crampy and gassy today. Not sure what that is about. I need to keep myself busy the next 14 days as its going to take forever... Just curious if anyone had similar situation as me and got a BFP on their first IUI try. would love to hear from some of you amazing women!!

I'm about to go in for my third IUI but my friend who had been trying to get pregnant naturally since april 2008 just got her BFP on her first IUI try few days ago! So there is hope. Good luck!

InspiredbyHannah..........your U/S is tomorrow too? Mine is at 11 in the morning and I'm a mixture of emotions. I'm super excited about possibly doing my first IUI in a few days and also terribly nervous. My 4 follies were 12mm, 10mm, 8mm & 8mm on Monday and we've been doing Bravelle every night this week so that they've been doing some serious growing!!! Good luck tomorrow!!!!!!!!

Hi ladies,

I fall in this group, but my dh and I are using ds. Had IUI #2 yesterday and was very disappointed with the numbers. I know most of you are using your husband's/bf , so maybe you can't relate. We had 24. million count, but the motility was horrendous, only 17%!!! I doubt it will work this cycle..

Quick question for anyone who's been on Letrozole: Im on cd10 and for the past day or so I've been feeling tightness and twinges in my lower abdomen...is that normal, good, bad, ugly?! Could it be maturing follies? I started OPK this afternoon just in case I O early.

Thanks for the low down. I'm going to question everything my RE says from now on...or atleast with a grain of salt. LOL! I get to poke a hole in DH over inflated head/ego. Dang RE! He had to tell DH he had SUPER HUMAN SPERM & AMAZINGLY HIGH counts. So DH has been walking in the clouds ever since. Time to return to reality! Thanks Ladies!

Chichi, go to the thread called something like "BFP with IUI" and you can read about other people's fertility journeys...how many IUIs they had before they got BFP...what their follicle size was...drugs they were on, etc. It's really inspirational to read about other people's successes because then it feels inevitable that you will also be a success at some point.

hi ladies, I went in for my CD11 u/s today and we will be doing IUI on Sunday and Monday (B2B) I had 4-5 mature follies. I'm being cautious this time as to not get terribly excited since I've had as many follies on my first IUI and no pregnancy.

Well I really hope we get ton of BFP's on here.

I am so exhausted today that I can barely keep my eyes open at work. I locked my door and slept for 30 minutes during lunch. The stress and worry and waiting really takes a toll on me.
