IUI September 28th - October 4th
Hi Everyone
I am looking for some ladies for support through this process and I would love to give supprot to others too. I am curetnly taking 75 mg. injections of gonval every night. This is my second time trying IUI as the first time in June 2009 did not work. Last month (August 11, 2009) I had surgery for endo. and as of Thursday the ultra sound showed no signs of endo. (YEAH!!!) I would love to hear stories from others. Does anyone know if stress can affect the results of an IUI? In 2 days two days two very close family members past away (Husband and Wife- my aunt and uncle) one was expected and one was not expected. It is hard right now helping my mom with the death of her sister and trying to focus on the whole IUI process. Any type of support that I can recieve I would be greatful.

I am so sorry about you loss! It's hard to deal with family stuff when you're dealing with IF too! Hopefully a BFP will be coming your way shortly!
I will be IUI-ing tomorrow (the 28th)!!! This will be my first IUI! All my numbers are below! I'm hoping that my 2nd & 3rd place follies will be viable by tomorrow! Those numbers are from Saturday morning!!!

stacy7499 - I'm so sorry for your loss sweetie. I'm sure this is a very stressful and emotional time for you, hang in there.
AFM - I'm not sure when my IUI is going to happen since I won't know better until tomorrow after my u/s. But I'm thinking that it will happen anywhere from this Thursday til Monday. So, I might as well join you ladies. This is my first IUI since we lost our baby in July. It's a total of 4 IUIs for me. Lots has happened since my very first IUI, let me know if I can help in any way shape or form.

A little worried I've had negative OPK's since trigger, but RE's nurse says they trust the trigger more than the opk! I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I go in less that 2 hours! EEEK! I'm nervous, excited, scared, and of course, trying not to get my hopes up!

IUI on Sat Sept 25
I am so sorry for your loss. I had my first IUI on Sat. 9/25; Try to relax. I have TTC for three years, I figure now isn't the time to stress out. I keep myself very busy and occupied so I try not to think about it. I feel like I am in the right place with my RE. I did the Gonal RFF injections and then Ovadril. Now I am on the progesterone suppositories, 100mg in the morning and at night, which I think is the worst part about all of it. My BB's hurt and I feel bloated, and emotional. Fortunately I have joined this website and I was prepared for how I was going to feel. Good Luck!

I am so sorry for your loss, Stacy, that is very sad. Ask them to send strength from heaven while you're going through this process. They're now angels and a little more love from above while going through IF is a fine thing!
 This is IUI #8,928,031 for me! I just try and keep sane, sometimes I go crazy but as I go through it more and more, I realize it's a process. I'm trying to learn what I can and I know that when our babies finally come, we will be ready and loving and want them very much. These arms were made for huggin' and that's just what they'll do!Wanessa- hey girl! So glad to be here with you. I am pulling for you every step of the way. Sending all my love to my fellow IUI girls, here we go!!  Best of luck and keep sending out the good mojo, may it return to our hearts as hugs.

Hi girls! I am joining your group as I will have my 3rd IUI tomorrow (9/29). I will have FIVE mature follicles by then so I am crossing my fingers.

Jessica10 DH, 34 -- Perfect ME, 32 -- anovulation, hypothyroid TTC since 2007 (naturally) April 2008 -- (prescribed Synthroid), acupuncture October 2008 -- 5 cycles of Clomid (50mg then 100mg) -- no luck April 2009 -- RE; HSG test clear tubes, not ovulating even with the Clomid; May -- prescribed Clomid 100mg + trigger shot; no follicles at day 11 ultrasound; skipped cycle June 2009 -- IUI#1: prescribed Clomid 100mg + trigger shot + Follistim; (actually an FSP) July 2009 -- thyroid acting weird so missed a cycle1 09/01/09 -- IUI #2: prescribed Clomid 100mg + trigger shot + Follistim; 3 follicles at day 11 u/s: 17mm, 28mm, & 30mm. Had the IUI (FSP) on 9/1 09/17/09 AF 09/18/09 U/S 5 mature follicles -- 75IU Follistim days 3,4 and 6; 100mg Clomid days 3-7 and trigger shot 09/29/09 IUI#3: 5 mature follicles & 184m sperm 10/25/09 - 1 mature follicle; trigger 10/26 10/28 IUI #4 -- 1 follicle, 116million sperm count Taking the month off.

Hey ladies! I was looking at the message boards and read the title of this thread and thought "Sept 28- oct 4th...hey that's me!". I'm getting ready to do my first IUI on October 4(or 5th). Just finished my femara this morning and can't wait for the weekend!!

Good luck to all girls! I just wanted to share something that happened on my first IUI yesterday. Everything was looking great. I didn't believe when the nurse said that my DH specimen was great
(he started with multi vitamins a month ago and he worked out less on the last week...I guess it is working), but then the worst thing happened: somehow, the back part of the injection tube felt and half of the sperm was lost . I was soooo disappointed, so lost. The nurse didn't know how that could happened but she inserted half part anyway but she didn't think it was enough so, my DH had to do another sample 3 hours after the first one. On that time I was already devastated and thinking that was all over but by a miracle happened: the second sample came out good too (less than the first but still good) and then my second IUI (three 2 hours after the first one) was done but that one worked perfectly. Bottom on line: I got 2 IUI in 2 hours and paid for just one (since was their fault). So now I don't know if what happened was a good sign or not. Well, I hope it was . Just want share my story with you girls. I will be for all of us!
