Unhappy Feeling Down

Posting this in a few thread so forgive me if youve already read it...

Hey ladies,

I had a really tough day today. Well, it really started last night. I started to read up on low morphology. DH's was only 1% for our IUI yesterday. Most everything I have read says we probably need to go straight to IVF. So, I was already a bit upset when I got to work this afternoon. Well, my District Manager and Store Manager sit me down to have this serious talk about something I didn't even do. Ugh. I started balling. Sigh. I do not like crying in professional situations but I could not help it. It just came out. I was sobbing uncontrollably. So emotional, so frustrated, so angry. And I was even more upset because I really was trying not to be upset on the 2ww. I'm sure it's not helping the process to be so stressed out!!! I am so angry!! I have been with this company for 7+ years and these immature girls that work for me are trying to demean my character....

Have any of you ever heard of a successful IUI with only 1% morphology? I know it only takes 1, so I still have some hope!! Just trying to relax a bit... Oh and I was told not to take advil during ovulation... can I take anything for this migrane? Thanks Ladies...

Don't know what I would do without the support I find here with you all.

Baby Dust to all!!!!!

Def. out for an IUI, but the nurse said since we spent so much time and money on this cycle to go ahead and BD if we are ok with it and we will see what happens in two weeks...and if I dont end up preggo this time they are switching my meds, so I am pretty darn excited about that! But I am pretty sure there is no hope for this cycle, since the bleeding continues that means my lining just keeps getting thinner. But suprisingly I am not sad or upset like I thought I would be, but I am trying to be happy because DS just took his first real steps last night!

Wanessa-eat a spoonful of peanut butter...it works wonders for heartburn!

love-I know how hard it is to have issues at work while TTC, so hang in there and I hope you were able to explain the situation with your manager, I used to work with some pretty immature people, sadly I think they are in every work place, hopefully your boss sees the truth. As for your IUI, I think if your doctor didn't think it could be sucessful he would have canceled it, and just think that those 1% of good swimmers are going to meet up with your one fantastic egg! I am pretty sure only Tylenol, but call your doc if you really need something else other than that. Take a deep breath and relax this weekend, do something nice for yourself or spend some good quality time with DH, and Monday will be a whole new week!

Questions...

Hi Ladies-

Has anyone had any symptoms since there IUIs? I have had slight cramping and back pains, but I am sure that's normal. Anyone else?

Also, are you ladies doing anything "different" than you would normally do otherwise, like eat different foods or accupuncture?

I have been carrying on like normal to keep my mind from wondering if it worked or not. I am not sure if I should be doing anything different.

Good Morning Ladies!!!

sarahelaine57 ~ Sorry about the bad news sweetie. It's a great thing that you can still BD though. It that happened to me there wouldn't really be any hope. DH could BD but the chances of anything happening are like 1 in millions or something like that. I hope that they can sort this out and if they won't do the IUI then they can prepare you better for your next one.
It would be great if you stuck around to cheer us on sweetie. I'll be for you. Keep us updated on what you'll be doing next.

deanie - Hi sweetie, nice of you to stop by. How r u doing? How is the 2ww treating you?

BJBaby - Symptoms? Well lets see. I'm super bloated, I have lover back pains, I have the worst heartburn ever, my sense of smell is much stronger and my bbs are itchy. Nah....no symptoms. But with all of that being said I know better than to analyze every little symptom. After 4 IUIs I have learned not to read into things. I would say just try to relax and not stress about it. Hang in there girl.

TTCOOK - Since we're anxiously waiting to know if we're pregnant or not we'll notice everything about our bodies. I too feel the little pinches here and there. It's normal I guess. Hang in there, We're almost at the finish line.

Ok so the bleeding stopped last night and aside from one VERY light pink spotting tonight it seems to have gone away...however I started progesterone suppositories and I believe that is what caused my spotting in my previous pregnancy. But maybe this will help my lining....I think it's pretty thin for implantation but I keep telling myself miracles do happen! So I am crossing my fingers that I see a BFP in 13 days! So I know I didn't do an IUI but would like to keep with you ladies since we are going to be testing around the same time.

Love-I will totally be POASing in about 10 days...if I can wait that long, lol!

Odd that I have no symptoms/side effects from the trigger, I always had sore bbs, bloating, and pain in the ovaries post trigger....anyone else experience this?

my iui

Well ladies, I had my 1st iui yesterday.
I have to say, it was pretty painless and very quick! the only problems was with the specltlum(?), which the doc changed twice, I have a small cervix.

My heart absolutley sank, when the doc looked at the washed sperm under the microscope and said 'hmmm.... good' < long, long pause>, then he said 'there are more lazy swimmers than lively ones...' In that moment I thought I was going to burst, but he said 'but, thats why we are doing this.'
After a while laying flat, I got up and they showed me the slide under the microscope, and i got to see the little sperm swimming round, cute! Some def. looked more .... athletic than others!
ANYWay, to make a long story short, 2 hours afterward I was lounging round at home, and I got the worst cramps I ever felt in my life. I was sweating & screaming in pain, we called the Dr's office, who said that some cramping was normal, and it could be the sperm wash, and if we do this again, they will spin the sperm wash twice ( not sure how this helps). I was told to apply a heat pack and take mild tylenol. It was tough for the next 10-12 hours, but this morning I feel much better, still some muscle aches and mild cramping but at least I can stand up straight.
I understand this is a rare reaction, and do not want to frighten anyone! I always seem to be in that 1% of the worst side effects for anything.

I have been distracted by the pain, so have not had a chance to contemplate if it was sucessful. I am just glad the pain is over.
I have to go in next week for bw, to check hormones levels, and then another week for the preg. test. Hope time flys by!
Good luck everyone, I am praying for us all!
Lucy

Sarah - So glad things are going well now... for you to get your !! LOL Don't know if I can wait 11 more days.

Lucy - Cheering on your little swimmers!!!! So sorry you had a bad reaction. Glad you're feeling better though

As for me... I had some cramping in the ovary areas the first day and a half after my IUI and today I have mid back soreness. I have been making better choices with the foods I'm eating. I almost forgot to cut out sweet tea. I love it but have switch over to drinking almost all water. Other than that I haven't made any changes.... Oh I did buy a pineapple and will start eating the core around 8dpiui. For those of you who don't know, I read that Bromelain - found in the core of a pineapple, aides in implantaion. So I bought me a pineapple. It can't hurt. LOL U never know.

How is everyone else doing?

I'm ready to hear about some s.

Baby Dust to you all!!
