So I'm suppose to trigger tonight. I'm super excited.

I'll join ya, my nurse said tentative date for B2B IUIs are the 7th and 8th! But possibly the 6th and 7th...this is the part I hate more than the 2ww is not knowing when it is going to happen! I go in Monday to see when I will be doing the iui for sure!
Wanessa-my sucessful IUI was done as B2B and done at 24 hours and 40 hours post trigger, so dont worry to much. I dont know much about klinefelters but if you can I would BD a day after the IUI to cover your bases...good luck tomorrow!!!!!

YAY Sarah !!!The 2ww is the worst, I'm not looking forward to that at all. Thanks for the info on the IUI timing. For me BDing won't do much. DH has azoospermia and we're currently using DS. Maybe we'll BD just for fun !!!

Ok I learned something today about your DHs diagnosis, well my nurse told me to feel free to Bd after the first IUI because a lot of people who do IUI and fertility treatments feel disconnected a little when they get preggo and it may or may not help but it would make DH feel more involved in the process. Sounds like your trigger will be perfect, the egg will be waiting for all those swimmers!

hey group!! well, as Wanessa knows, i am not doing my second IUI yet, probably waiting till january, but because Wanessa is a good friend and we've been cycle sisters before, i definitely want to follow this thread and cheer u girls on to your BFP's!!
As for the bed-dancing,,,i agree with u there, even though my DH has azoospermia due to Klinefelter's, we before IUI and every month when i am ovulating....always God will send out one lil swimmer as a miracle to get us prego....and especially around the IUI...we right before it, so he would feel like he contributed....only God knows if he did or not.... so good luck girls...i'll be watching yall!!! and hard for everyone!!!![]() |

Hi !
I am scheduled for my first iui sometime between Oct 7-10th. I went for my 4th us/bw today, RE says my follicals are approx. 14mm, he says they need to be around 20, so I still have some growing to do. He said possibly friday for the iui, give or take a day. I have been on follistim for 7 days, currently taking 225iu. I am trying to be calm and stress free, my ob/gyn says babies dont come when you are stressed! Good Luck Everyone! Lucy |

Wanessa - Thanks for the warm welcome
Best of luck on your IUI tomorrow!!! I'll be praying for you!Faith - I'll be praying for you as well. Maybe you'll get a special little gift while you are the break Thanks for your support! How old is Elyssa?Lucy - This will be my first IUI as well. Clomid only cycle for me. Remaining stress free is easier said than done, huh? I've been taking advantage of the season and enjoying the outdoors. It relaxes me. Are you from NY? What part? I grew up in Queens.

I am in NYc, but I am not from there!
I just feel that I have heightened emotions rightnow, I have had issues with dates maybe not working out and insurance denying me for meds, and then mid cycle approving me etc... Its been a roller coaster. I have a question, if my follicals (7) are showing about 14mm today, and the RE estimates Friday for the iui, that is 5 more days of growth, will they grow that fast to 20mm +? Do they have a fast growth spurt at the end? Can they get too big ? Good luck, I am hoping October is a good month for us all ! Last edited by lucy_ny : 10-04-2009 at 01:02 PM. |

this is your first and last iui!!! i would love the miracle of becoming prego without fertility procedures, but with DH having azoospermia, the chances are slim...but we can hope....oh and Elyssa just turned one last sat...we've had her since she was six months and looking at adoption happening in the next six months!!![]() |

Faith-Dh and I have talked about fostering to adopt since we started with IF treatments and I always wanted to do do fostering, what state are you in? Was it a lenghty process to get certified? I think after we have #2 we will get more serious about it but would love to pick your brain sometime if you don't mind....
Ok ladies getting nervous about my 10 o'clock appt...hoping I see some nice big follies! Ok off to do some laundry or something to keep me busy until I have to leave! Wanessa-13 more days until testing! crossing my fingers that the time will fly for you!

sarahelaine...i'm in Texas...it takes about 3 months to get certified...it took us longer because of hurricanes last year...and the process isn't bad at all, just classes and then home inspection and fire inspection and health inspection....we got certified at the end of jan and got elyssa at the end of march....right after a BFN on my IUI....we are told that we will be able to adopt before march 2010 so we are excited....and we are excited to try IUI again...we want to continue foster to adopt parenting, as we want a large family, but we still want me to be prego at least once.....u can pick my brain anytime..lol
