I had my iui done on sunday! Oh man its only been 2 days and its seems like 2 months! I'm so terrified to poas! In the past 5 years I get a bfn! I know I shouldn't get my hopes up considering that this was our first time! But my re gave me hope...my dh swimmers where perfect he said and at 110 million...we have a good chance of bringing home a baby in july! Well I hope you ladies get your bfp's!

My second scan was this am. I had one follie at 19, 2 at 16, 2 at 15. Does this sound good?? They drew an E2 and will call me later today about when to trigger. Hopfeully today so we can do IUI on Fri b/c we are scheduled to go out of town sat. My DH will not be happy...oh well I keep telling him this is more impt!!!

Nene- I think the follies sizes sound great! I had a friend get preggo with twins and she had about the same follicle size. Good Luck!

Well I am officially in my two week wait. I started the prometrium suppositories and we will just see what happens. I also have a accupunture appointment tomorrow that focuses on successful implantation. I am glad I have a busy job because I definately think I will need to keep myself occupied. Just wondering if anyone had a plan for intercourse post IUI. I am not sure how long to keep on a " sex" schedule??? Any thoughts?

Just had my first IUI yesterday. Very emotional experience, Must be the hormones. Never thought I would be driving the 405 in LA with my husbands sperm nestled between my cleavage heading to the gyno for IUI. Last month I was on 50mg of Clomid + Premarin. This month, I was jumped to 100Mg plus Premarin. Had HCG trigger on 10/19 and IUI on 10/20. Doctor said DH was bionic :-) and my follicles were 24mm-26mm. I had some weird stabbing pain yesterday. VERY bloated. OMG that shot is for a horse. Today I feel normal. Praying and Hoping.

Looking for a fertility friend.

DH: 32

TTC 1: 50mg Clomid - BFP Negative
TTC 2: 100mg Clomid - HCG Trigger - IUI1 10/20

Hi girls. Had my u/s and bloodwork today. My E2 is 378 and I had 2 follies on L (16, and 11..I never have them here) and 4 on R (13,13,12,11). I thought for sure she would have me trigger but she wants me to take 2 more days of 200 of follistim and go in for bw and u/s on Friday! I'm afraid I'm going to ovulate since I've never had anything better than 14 before a trigger. I'm also terrified of multiples!!! My belly is crampy and sex kills....sorry TMI. keep u posted.

Heatherly, when they do b2b IUIs do they use fresh or frozen swimmers -- or one of each?

My cycle was cancelled d/t OHSS with follicles at 19, 2 at 15 and 2 at 16?!?! my E@ was 500 something. I am so upset! This sucks!!! All that $$$ for nothing!!

We are local to each other! I am on the Eastside though.

As for doing b2b IUIs- we use fresh samples each day.

I stated Endometrin this morning and I kept having dizzy spells while working at my son's preschool. Not sure what that is about??

Just a FYI - I HATE THE 2WW!!! I am a chronic early tester.

Also, what are you eating? Drinking?? Avoiding??

Because you have 5 follies or because of the sizes? My RE says he hopes for 2-5 follies with IUI. I have read here that other Drs like that amount too.

I am really sorry. Go til the cows come in!!

Nene, I am so sorry but this doesn't make sense to me. I thought that OHSS was an issue with IVF and not IUI since the eggs are harvested and not actually ovulated. I did have OHSS when I did both rounds of IVF - the first time I had 63 eggs and the second time I had 52. With just 5 follicles, how on earth could you be at risk?? I am not second guessing your RE, it just seems really odd especially since your e2 is only in the 500's which is low (over 8 or 9,000 is high).

Definitely start having sex though. My RE says success rates are similar for au naturale and IUI so go chase them eggies! Good luck!

Oh no...my RE said no until after my period this month!!!
