Hello ladies...

Today was my CD2 baseline us scan. I had 7 folicles on the R and 6 on the left. My RE upped my follistim to 75iu per night and I will be re-scanning Tues. AM.

Let's make this cycle mean something!!!

I think I will be on the 18 or 19, if we go by how days past AF I did the last 2 IUIs.

3rd IUI, clomid and bravelle again. Insomnia already as my side effect. I am finding my reactions to the drugs stronger each time. Great huh?

Side note, yesterday when I got in the elevator to go up to the REs office, I just had this overwhelming feeling of "Why me AGAIN??" It was tangible likea weight on my shoulders.

Ugh - I'm sorry it dawned on you that way. I'm only on my 2nd and the first time, I wrapped myself in the iron-clad defense of "eh - it never works on the first time". I think I feel like I'm really playing ball this time around.

Sorry about the side effects starting to stack. I'm just EXHAUSED, but that might be that I really gave up caffeine this month.

Hi Buffy and Nelly - nice to have you guys along!

I had my 2nd u/s this morning... I have 5 follicles above 10 - the largest is 12ish and the remaning are 11 and change. My estrogen is 309, so they're gonna back me off of the 75 to 50 and re scan on Friday. Maybe a Sat or Sun IUI?

had my first u/s today and I had 3 follies, 2 on right and one on left. The NP suggested I double up Bravelle but I want a singleton pg so she backed off.

I have to give myself the shot tonight and I am soooooo nervous. DH is out of town!!!

I'm pretty sure I go in on the 18th too! I'm so nervous! I only have 2 follicles sizes 19 and 17, as of today! I hope they are big enough! I keep telling myself it only takes one! Ughh what an emotional rollercoaster! Good luck ladies hope to see some BFPs!

Hi everyone! I am new to posting here but have been reading threads for the past few weeks.

Anyway I started Clomid last night (100 mg) and will take that for 5 days then Bravelle 150IU for 2 days (I think) then go in next Wed for IUI if everything looks good.

A little about me.. Hubby and I have been TTC naturally for years. We have a 12 yr old daughter (She will be 13 in Dec.) and have not used any type of BC since she was 3 mo. old. I started seeing an RE in March. He ran all kinds of tests and could not find anything abnormal with myself or my husband other than my periods are irregular. I usually have one every 2-3 months.

So after being told it was unexplained infertility I was told with my Oct cycle we would start the IUI process. I had a cycle Sept. 1st so I was pretty confident that there was no way I would get one in Oct too. Back to back cycles are so rare for me. They told me to come in Oct 7th if my cycle hadn't started and they would prescribe me Provera. In the meantime I ordered all the meds and had them ready to go. So Oct 7th comes and in I go. Had an u/s and bw done and they called me that afternoon and said "do not start the provera because surprise surprise you are 5w pregnant". Whatttttt after all these years I get pregnant spontanously with no meds or anything?!?! They were concerned however with my hcg only being 27 so they said come in Fri. and they will retest to make sure it goes up 66%. Friday evening they called and said it was down to 6 and that I had miscarried. They told me to come back Wed (yesterday) and they would make sure it was <5. I started bleeding Sat but still am not sure if it was just part of the miscarrying or if it is/was AF. She told me while at the office that if it were <5 I could start taking my meds that night (last night) which shocked me because I thought they would make me wait until next month to make sure it was a regular cycle. So she called yesterday afternoon and said it's a go, start the clomid. I am sooo confused but I suppose they know what they are doing haha. I really only bled for 3-4 days though and it was not too heavy (sorry if that is TMI). So I don't know what to make of it all. Any thoughts?

jamiesotherhalf just wanted to say i am sorry....i went thru something similiar(but on a medicated cycle) i had a positive beta but wound up being a chemical pregnancy...i'm not sure what to make of only 3/4 days of bleeding might be your lining was not built up enough to support the pregnancy...ask your re...if you are unsure or uncomfortable about anything...just ask...that is what you are paying them for..good luck with your upcoming cycle and ttc #2...big hug to you

Hi, everyone. Today is CD3 for me. Went in for my u/s this am and it showed 3 follies on R ( 15,18,13mm). I haven't started meds yet but just finished a cycle with follistim which actually ended up in a chem preg. Initially the nurse said the RE might wait a cycle till they went away but when she called back she put me on 200 of Follistim. This is higher than I ever used before. My question is...what are those "follicles"? Do they have any potiental to continue to grow for this cycle or are they "dead" for lack of a better word.

I am going to be on Mon/Tues or Tues/Wed

After my RE's initial concern over my "only 3" follies, I had 6 at today's u/s. I go in Sun am for another u/s and will trigger on Sun or Mon.

My lining is good and I feel positive but am prepared for anything! Seeing the acupuncturists on Tues. Figure it can't hurt.

Jamie - I'm so sorry for your loss.
Briat - I'm not sure... my experience with CD3 is they wanted to make sure I didn't have anything over antral size (8ish?). I would ask your RE what's going on

Heatherly - Wow - 6? What size are they?!?

I'm CD10, and went in this morning for a Saturday scan because I'm so close. I have 4 - Three 16's and a 15. My estrogen is mid 600's. We're going to give them one more night of Follistim and then trigger in the AM with IUI Monday afternoon. I'm a little nervous, but I am very hopeful... which is more than I allowed myself last time

Its a go! I triggered this morning with 3 nice sized follies. Fingers crossed!! I feel sooooo bloated today.

We are scheduled to do b2b IUIs Mon and Tues but will verify with tomorrow's u/s.
