Unhappy no IUI this month

As some of you might remember, DH had a urinary tract infection when we went for our IUI last cycle. The dr gave him a month's worth of antibiotics. Well he wants DH to finish those antibiotics and then test his semen to be sure the infection is gone before we do another IUI. I mean, I get it but I'm just so frustrated. We are working on limited time. DH is in the Army and we are moving to a new post in March and then he will be deploying within 6 months of us getting there.

So yeah, looks like we will be doing it the old fashioned way this month. Time to stock up on fertility boosting foods, get a BBT thermometer and pull out those OPKs.

Rebwin- We had to skip this month as well. My RE's office called me at 7:20am last Saturday to tell me when had to the IUI THAT morning...which meant being at the lab by 8:30 (an hour drive, in the snow) with the sperm. It wasn't happening, so we decided to skip. Plus, my lining was really thin, so I knew our odds weren't that great.
Sometimes you just have to accept that the cycle didn't go exactly as planned. I'd rather everything be close to "perfect" before going through the effort with IUI, and spending the $ on it.
Hang in there....you still have a lot of time!!
