Poor DH

Well ladies my poor DH has finally hit a point where he is very frustrated. He went on for half an hour tonight about how the infertility assessment should include the extraction of at least one egg (no meds or anything) just to see what is actually going on with that egg. He feels it should be put together with a sperm and that no infertility work-up can possibly be complete without this information.

Now I know what it's been like to deal with me these past few months. Just when I am reaching a calmer point (for now, at least), he is exploding.

Thats what happened with us! As soon as I seemed to be calming down my DH was just getting fired up! Your DH does make a good point though. I feel like theres a lot left out of the "work up". Anyhow, best of luck to you and your DH!

I agree with him too! I think they are so many holes in the testing. I keep finding myself saying "but what about...?"

Interesting to know that more people feel this way. He will be happy to know it! I tend to always play Devil's Advocate to try to reason with people (it's my nature, I do it with work - etc. I'm not arguing, but actually trying to get people less worked up), so I told him that if this were feasible, clinics would already be doing it! But he (and you both) has a point I suppose. He thinks the insurance companies would even make out better.

In any event, I feel bad for him, but I suppose it's better for him to be frustrated than me during the 2WW!!!

Good luck to both you you ladies!

Hun I'm sorry your DH hit the roof. I know how hard you've been fighting IF an I want to say hang in there Hun. I do agree with what your DH says also. My DH has also said the same thing. I get so upset at things it not funny no more. Like today so da* made at nurses I can't see straight. Trying not to be so mad but heck when someone says something to you. You think how in the heck are they a nurse if can't tell you what is wrong.

Heck with all the new technology they come up with all the time. They should be able to figure out more stuff but nope lots of us has to fight an fight this.

Hun do you take PM's?

So if I want to chat with you I could PM what is going on instead of telling everyone. It be nice to have another person for support or to listen to. If don't want to I understand.

Hun I will be keeping my and everything double crossed for you. You need a this time... Not a no way...

Hun..

hi slyfoxy! Welcome back. Hope your time away was good. You can send me a private message anytime!!!

Well, DH got a new toy to keep him occupied, which is great! We are both keeping REALLY busy during this 2WW and I feel much more relaxed. Also, my BFF is going to give birth any day now and I'm looking forward to it because I think that once she does, I will be able to feel less tense. I don't know why, I just have that feeling.

Thank goodness also . . . for post season baseball! LET'S GO YANKEES!

Urg. I do have a fear of finding something that cannot be fixed. My RE thinks that with our numbers, everything should be just fine, but who knows! I guess we will find out if we have to do IVF.
