Yeah!!

Congratutulations, cyclingmomma!!!! Yeah!!!

I, too, am totally obsessed with reading these posts. It's just all so comforting, exciting and informative. Took another test today as per my doc and it was . Not looking good, but it's still early. Not doing another one until Monday at the earliest. You heard it here folks!

Looks like I will not be needing to take another test. Just as I finished writing this post it seems AF has arrived.

I'm so sorry auntagain! Stupid stupid !!

You did an unmedicated IUI? I think we are going to do that next month. Did you want to take a break from meds or just see if it would happen?

My doc says that because I have gotten pregnant before and I o regularly and on my own there is no reason to take the meds just yet. I did have the option of going on them if 1st IUI didn't work, but I'll be away half the month so we'll do another unmed iui mid dec. and then if that doesn't work I'll go on clomid, I guess. We originally thought it was dh with the issue (according to 1st s/a), but everything looked great the day of the iui. His count was 170 million and within normal range for everything else. We have no idea why we can't get pregnant.

AF still hasn't come full force which is unusual by now, but I just think she's taking her time. It's a weird month.

What about you, Metalgirl? When are you testing? Any symptoms?

Ug!

She's here.
I realized, for me, the worst part is the waiting. Once she's here I feel much better. I'm better at accepting what's done than the not knowing. I hope everyone has a better month than me.
Thanks for the support, ladies. This is my first month on the forum. It helped release some of that stress and, of course, it's always comforting to know we are not alone. It does make me sad to think of all the women out there who dream to be mommies and just can't for whatever reason. God has a funny way of preparing us for the rest of our lives. I think that's what he's doing. Hopefully all this is teaching us to be more patient parents and to appreciate what gifts our (future) children are. I really believe that.

aunt - well at least she's here and your not in limbo. That's the worst. So sorry again. I usually ov on my own as well so I think I might talk to my doc this next week about trying unmedicated IUI.

Took a test today and it was negative. I know its only 12dpiui but I think its a pretty good indicator of what to expect on Monday. That AF will start - darn it! I'll test again on Monday morning and post my results.

Everyone have a good weekend.

Well ladies, I POAS this morning at 14dpiui and it was a . I really was hoping this would finally be my month. I am not sure what emotion I am feeling -- just kind of numb right now. I have not gotten AF yet but that is probably because of the crinone. I stop taking that tomorrow I think. So, I expect she'll show up on Wednesday or Turkey Day. I'll leave a post when that happens. Thanks so much to all of you for your support. This was my first month on the forums and it really made a big difference to my sanity. So thank you all for your encouragment and understanding. I'll be back on the next IUI thread in a few days I am sure. Who's with me?

cyclingmomma -- CONGRATS! So happy for you that this long road has lead you to your BFP!

AuntAgain -- sorry that AF has arrived :-( Will you be on the boards next month?

PuppyMom and MetalGirl -- hoping that your BFNs are just because it was too early to tell. I'll check again tomorrow and hope to see a changed status!

keepingfaithhope -- thanks for the well wishes. To answer your quesiton, I have had to do more u/s and b/w on the follistim. They need to monitor the doseage more closely with the injectibles. It really is only a pain to me to not know exactlly what days I need to go in very far in advance. I know they always want me back on day 7, but after that it varies depending on what they see. My first time on the injections I only had one visit because I had to go in on cd8 instead of 7 (travelling) and they could tell me from that when to inject and come back for IUI. This last time though I think it was 2 or 3 visits. I wish you lots and lots of .

Me 30, DH 31. Unexplained infertility after 2+ years ttc.
7 cycles on clomid, BFN . Found out on 7th cycle that clomid really thinned my lining out.

1 cycle: tamoxifen + IUI; BFN
1 cycle: femara + IUI; BFN
June 2009: follistim + IUI; 2 mature follicles; BFN
July 2009: on hold due to cysts left over from previous follistim cycle
August 2009: follistim starting CD2 instead; 6 mature follicles -- cancelled cycle to avoid risk of high order multiples
September 2009: on birth control hoping to avoid cysts
October 2009: one pesky cyst left, so on hold again
Oct-27 - AF finally arrived. Follistim at 50 IU on CD3-10.
Nov 8: IUI w/ 90 million post-wash!!! Adding progesterone (crinone) support this month too. Feeling so blessed this month to get to try. Only one lead follicle -- but this is the ONE I know it.

Really hopeful that this will be the month where it all works out!
