advice
I HAVE TRIED CLOMID FOR 6 MONS, OVULATED BUT NO PREG. THEN DID FOLLOSLIM ONE CYCLE OVULATED , NO PREG AND NOW RE WANTS TO DO FOLISLIM WITH IUI. AND I CAN HOLD DOWN METFORMINE. I HAVE HAD PCOS FOR 10 YRS I AM 26. ANY ADVICE? WE HAVE BEN TRYING FOR OVER AYEAR.
 I AM VERY NERVOUS ABOUT IUI, CAN SOMEONE TEL ME HOW IT WAS FOR THEM?

Have you tried Femara? That is an alternative to clomid. I just went through a cycle and it has been successful so far. From what I have heard about IUI is that it is super quick and easy. I hear it only takes like 10 min and then you are done! If we are not successful getting BFP than we will probably try it.

Married for 8 years TTC for 2 1/2 years Have not O on my own for 2 years 1-1-09 Diagnosed with PCOS 6-15-09 first round of clomid  8-15-09 met with Fertility Specialist 8-23-09 had HSG -VERY PAINFUL but everything is OK 9-1-09 Went on BC pills to help regulate me 10-7-09 1st day taking Femara CD 5-9 10-18-09 Met with RE for ultrasound and trigger shot. 3 follies measuring 22, 19 and 18  11-3-09 11-05-09 CD 1 11-09-09 Started femara days 5-9 11-19-09 2 follies measuring 23 and 26! 11-20-09 8:30 am IUI scheduled.

IUI is no big deal. If you've had an hsg, it's waaaay easier than that! All they do is thread the catheter in and squirt the soldiers right into your uterus. The worst that I've had is cramping that resembles, for me, moderate af cramps, and an achy lower back. I've had lots of bloating and gassiness on two of three cycles as well, but I think that was from my hcg trigger. Good luck, and don't worry....IUI is easy!

thanks girls good luck this month
I hope it works out for alof us!!!is femera anything like clomide? bc clomide gave me a bad sideeffect with my eyes  Dose anyone know what is sooo efctive aboit iui rather then timed intercorse?
