Strange question
Hi everyone,
I'm currently in my 2WW. I get my beta on 10/31 if my AF doesn't rear her ugly head. I have a strange question for you. A few days ago, I got really bad gum pain under my front teeth on the bottom. My gums are inflamed. I ended up going to the dentist. I take good care of my teeth and this happened suddenly not over time. He said that it could be my hormones. I looked it up and this can happen with fertility treatment. I took gonal f this cycle. I am also taking crinone progesterone gel. I'm really uncomfortable and angry that it's just one more thing to deal with. I've had cycles with meds before and this never happened. Do any of you have any experience with this??? |

I've never had anything like this happen to me, but I hope that it goes away fast for you. I've always had really bad problems with my teeth in the past so I know how annoying that can be. Hang in there, the 2ww is a real pain in the behind but it's worth it in the end.

sensitive gums
my gums have been very sensitive ever since i stopped taking bc (2 yrs ago!) they're not as bad now, but still bleed more easily than they should. my dentist says hormone changes can cause all this, so when you consider first going off the pill, then my inconsistent cycles w/ pcos, and now all the hormones i've been taking for iui's, i guess my hormones have never had the opportunity to level off. and from what i understand it will be even worse once i get pregnant. i've always had very healthy teeth - age 35 and never a cavity, so i don't suppose i can complain too much, but it sure is irritating to end up w/ bloody gums every time i floss!
hope you find some relief, and to you!

My gums were more sensitive and bleeding at my last dentist appointment. I already have sensitive gums, so this just made everything worse.

Thanks for all the info, ladies. Do any of you get this intermittently? My gums are good now. Is there a chance that they'll act up again??
