1st IUI in November! Anyone else?
I just found out yesterday at my baseline US that I am good to go for a first round of IUI with injectables. Is anyone else going through the same thing? I would love the support

Hello! I go in tomorrow for baseline US tomorrow. Hopefully will be okay so I can start clomid tomorrow. Then the plan is Ovidrel on cd12. This will be our first IUI so nervous and excited at the same time. Maybe this will be our month!

Hello girls,
I went to basline u/s yesterday and start to take clomid from day3. I'm supposed to have another u/s on day 10. After that, Re said he'll decide what's the next. Wish us the best of luck!

making progress
 arrived today so it is officially day #1. I am supposed to start my Follistim on Thursday. I'm just so excited to be making progress rather than taking those BC pills again! I'm keeping you all in my thoughts! Good luck!

Puppymom - I'm glad you are able to get this thing rolling! I had my u/s this morning and looks good. Whoever though you would be "excited" to get a u/s? Start clomid tonight - I already feel so bloated and fat from
, I just wonder if clomid makes it worse! These jeans are tight!!gosummer - good wishes on your upcoming u/s!

Hi Metalgirl,
It seems that we are doing the same thing: I'm taking 50mg clomid d3-7, today is my day 5. I had my baseline u/s the day before yesterday. But unfortunately RE found several small fibriods in my uterus. So I'm going to do HSG next Monday to have a clear look on them. When you did your baseline u/s, what did your RE tell you? My RE told me that my ovaries look good, he can see lots of eggs are growing. but I forgot to ask about my linning. To be honest, I don't know what I should ask him. lol Quote:

gosummer - ugh, sorry about the fibroids! But
 are the good eggs! They just said today that it looks like I have some good follicles, no cysts and that my uterine lining was good. I dont' know what to ask other than that. But when it comes to the u/s after clomid, then I will ask if lining is good, mature follices?, cysts?, that sort of thing.Have you had HSG before? mine was in March. If not, prepare for more than expected pain. my dr said you may have some cramping. Well I have pretty bad cramps with so I thought no big deal. I must say I was taken by surprise. I took 800mg advil before and doesn't do a thing, and was laid up the rest of the day with cramps (i'm not a weenie i promise!)  . I hope yours goes better than mine - not trying to scare ya, but just letting you know what mine was like.Let me know how it goes!

Metalgirl, thanks for the questions to RE. I'll remember to ask on my day 10 u/s.
Are your tubes clear? I'm surprised hsg hurts if so. I was told to take 600-1000mg advil an hour before. My re also gave me some antibiotics. Since I know I have to do hsg, I've searched a lot about it. Some said only uncomfortabe, some said bad cramps like you. I guess it's just different by person. But thanks a lot for your reminder, I'll prepare myself well mentally and physically. Quote:

gosummer, yup my tubes were fine. I hope i never do that test again.
 yours is painless!I'm already feeling cranky on this clomid stuff AND i have a new zit!

Thanks. I hope mine is a painless one too. I'm so scared of pain....
Speaking of the side effects of clomid, I'm quite different. I don't really feel anything, maybe a little bloating?... I tought I always overeat in the evening so maybe this is the real reason instead of clomid.  But anyway, having side-effect on clomid at least proves your body is responding to it. That's good, right?I'll let you know next Monday how's my HSG goes. Quote:

Just kidding....
I did NOT get my period~ I thought it was here, but it never showed up! I took my last BC pill on Sunday and still don't have my period. I called the Dr. yesterday and she said that if it doesn't present itself by tomorrow she would like me to come in for an US to see what's going on! Who would've thought after all of this that I would WANT my period!

Can I join you guys?
I was originally supposed to have my first IUI in October but my body seems to want to drag things out a bit. If I get a positive surge tonight (cd18), I will do my IUI tomorrow (nov 1). If I don't get a positive surge tonight, I think we are going to have to give up for the month. that I get a positive surge tonight.

I normally ovulate pretty late in my cycle and the Femara hasn't done anything to help speed that up. If this IUI doesn't work, I am thinking that I will have to go back on the Clomid which makes me .

puppymom what the heck is going on - how frustrating! I hope she starts soon so you can start with your IUI. Let us know about your u/s.

yay! I just got a positive surge. IUI is a go for tomorrow morning (my clinic has weekend hours). I am both freaked out and excited.
