Numbers and IUI
[FONT='Verdana','sans-serif']I was curious if anyone knew what the lowest number of sperm and motility a doctor would do IUI with? I know the lower the count, the more the success rate goes down. We're trying to weight our options right now.[/font]

I think usually doctors like 10 million sperm with at least 50% motility for an IUI...however I have seen many on here with less that go on to get pregnant. We got pregnant with our worst counts...11.8 million/52% motility.

My RE says they like to see at least 1 milllion - my husband's counts have ranged from 1 million - 8 million post wash. No sucess yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this one.
