neveah - i do still think you have a chance! Its still a little early. And I don't know how many times on here I have read girls not getting BFPs until 14 - 15 dpiui. Try to hold out again until the 22nd. This is hard I know it!

Aimers - I feel your pain. 6 more days??! I'm going so crazy right now. But at home is a good place to be no matter the out come. I pray though its positive!!!

slyfoxy - you have a way of telling how much DH produces?? I thought I had read somewhere there was a home testing kit or something. At least you know when your getting results or not!

auntagain - I"m so sorry - I just hate it when you girls are crying and upset. But its still early. I am that those signs are because your pg and not AF - tell her she's not welcome this month.

I'm supposed to start AF on Monday. I'm going to try to hold out til Sunday to test but will probably do it Saturday. I'm not to worried if its negative on Saturday. I'm just patiently waiting . . .

Puppymom and metalgirl thanks for the support! As for my beta...my re didn't mention anything about it. I'm just suppose to call on monday with the results. My re only does 3 iuis so if this is a bust then we have 1 more. Then off to ivf. My dh and I are talking about adoption also. He was totally against it at first but today he asked me how we go about adoption which shocked me! But we will see how everything turns out! I just had my hopes high cuz of my follie sizez the lining and his count was up 20 million from last time! Maybe its just not meant to be!

Hello everyone! I hope you are all hanging in there on your 2 ww! Every month I think to myself that I won't be so obsessed about wanting to pee on something, hee hee, but it never fails! I did this am 9dpiui however I did see on one of the boards a lady did the same, but on day 11 she got a . Right now I am craving chocolate and feel crampy and crabby just like every other month when comes to town! The one thing that does keep me positive is that last year in August when I got pregnant I felt like this in Sept. when I was supposed to get my cycle and I was pregnant. It all feels like mind games doesn't it?

Luckily there is a dollar store in city and they actually have hpt there for $1. Pretty funny, but they work. A lady at work was preg. and I asked her to use it for me so that I could be sure I was not wasting my money and low and behold it worked! hee hee

Well I wish all of you the best this month and I cannot wait to see some in our group.

I have not wrote too much on the boards, but I read them all the time. You are a wonderful bunch of woman and it is comforting to see everyones feelings and emotions on here (and the funny tmi stuff too) to make me know that I am okay and that I can get through this.

bye for now

Good morning Ladies! Thanks for all that responded on my working out question. I think I will continue but will not run and will only walk.

All you ladies are all poas too early but I TOTALLY understand why you do it. The good thing for me is that I am won't be able to pee on a stick until the end of next week and my parents are coming up this Saturday and staying until after Turkey Day! My mind will be pre-occupied which is great for me.

I really want to see some BFP's this month. It always gives me hope. I am cheering for all you ladies that will be taking their tests this weekend.

AFM-I still feel bloated (or maybe I am just fat and don't want to admit it..haha) and my boobs have been sore since two day after my 2nd IUI. I am thinking that is the shots of follistim. Anyone have these symptoms from the follistim? Also I am really constipated...hate that!

Good luck! I will be reading but won't be able to comment much since I will be busy! Have a great weekend!

So today was our RE appt for next step.....I told him "I want to go balls to the wall, no holding back!!!" He laughed.....so the plan is this:

My December which I think day one will be the week of Christmas (yeah I know) I will have U/S CD3 start Follistem 75 units for CD 3-7, U/S CD 8 then they will give me instructions from there. Which would make IUI right around New Years. Does this sound about for meds and such??? He said they might have to adjust doses and number of injections. I'm not looking forward to sticking myself that many times.

Anyway... for the to come next week.

I respond really well on clomid....and my lining hasnt been effected by it. if i ask for follotism, will that increase the chances? This is will be our last IUI (dec)and I want to do everything possible! any ideas ladies?? Im at the end of my rope, im going to try to lose some weight before the next iui, my RE doesnt think thats a good idea because im where im suppose to be, but when i go PG with my daughter i was a little under weight..ok maybe way under weight. I was a 120 lbs and im 5'9" and now im a 145lbs. I need to figure something out. HELP ME! lol

Meredith - I started my follistim at 150 iu, but I have a high fsh. I was a poor responder on Clomid (only 1 follie at 100mg) and still only had two really good for sure mature follies this round on the follistim. The time frame sounds right for your first us and starting meds though. Don't worry about the injections, the needle in the follistim pen is tiny! It's nothing...you can do it!

nevaeh - Looking at your siggy it sounds like you respond really well to the Clomid. If your lining is ok, then the injects may only give you a slightly better quality egg (don't know if that's true, read it somewhere else on here). I would be worried about over stimming and having to cancel a cycle though since you're such a good responder.

meredith - that sounds about right to me. Good to start off at a lower dose and then work your way up from there if need be. Would be a great way to start off the new year with good news!

naveah - aimers I think is right. if you respond well to clomid and your lining is fine, then I wouldn't take the chance with follitism with the possibility of canceling your cycle. My doc said that's also where the chances of mulitiples are higher. I would also try to maintain your weight. It sounds as if its in a healthy range. If you just want to eat a lot healthier and then you just happen to lose some, I don't think that would hurt anything. But I just wouldnt' go overboard with some new diet plan.

blessed - your funny. Like you, I can't tell if I'm just really fat all of a sudden or just extremely bloated. I just know I do not look normal and its so very depressing. I've been living in my yoga pants!

Well bought some dollar tree hpt's - so I'm just counting down to use them. We got another on the other thread and so happy for her! Hope the good news continues!

Well, ladies, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I POAS this AM at 14dpiui and it was a :-( I still have not gotten AF, but I think that is because the progesterone suppositories. I'll test again tomorrow to be sure before stopping the progesterone. But I am guessing AF will arrive just in time for turkey day. Not something to be very thankful for :-( I am just glad we had already decided not to go home this year. My DH's family always does these big family announcements thing at their annual dinner and I keep pinning my dreams on some day us being able to give that big announcement that we are pregnant. So, this holiday makes me very emotional every year now. What a shame. The two friends in town that invited us to dinner this year both have new babies born in Sept. and sisters that will be there with their new babies as well. I don't know that I can handle either. OK, starting to tear up now so I think that I need to wrap up. I just wanted to say thanks for the support this month. I'll keep checking back hoping to see much better news from all of you. I'll also keep you posted on when AF officially arrives and my plan for next month.

Meredith -- I think what the 75 IUs sounds about right to start. Supposedly statistics are much better with injections -- so I think it is the right plan. Good luck! Will I see you on the forum next month?

Me 30, DH 31. Unexplained infertility after 2+ years ttc.
7 cycles on clomid, BFN . Found out on 7th cycle that clomid really thinned my lining out.

1 cycle: tamoxifen + IUI; BFN
1 cycle: femara + IUI; BFN
June 2009: follistim + IUI; 2 mature follicles; BFN
July 2009: on hold due to cysts left over from previous follistim cycle
August 2009: follistim starting CD2 instead; 6 mature follicles -- cancelled cycle to avoid risk of high order multiples
September 2009: on birth control hoping to avoid cysts
October 2009: one pesky cyst left, so on hold again
Oct-27 - AF finally arrived. Follistim at 50 IU on CD3-10.
Nov 8: IUI w/ 90 million post-wash!!! Adding progesterone (crinone) support this month too. Feeling so blessed this month to get to try. Only one lead follicle -- but this is the ONE I know it.

Really hopeful that this will be the month where it all works out!
