Happy Halloween Ladies-

I have a couple of questions that I'm hoping to get your help with...

Has anyone had an hcg booster/s during the 2ww and was it a single booster or multiple shots? Also, was it used in addition to supplemental progesterone or instead of it? And finally... what was the outcome of that cycle?

I hadn't actually started them yet (iui is tomorrow) but I will be doing a series of 3 hcg injections over the 2ww. It is pretty much the standard with my RE.

Hi Rose,
I received more information on the HCG injections and thought I would share. As I said before, I am doing 3 injections on 3dpiui, 6dpiui, and 9dpiui. In addition to all the lovely side effects like morning sickness, the hcg injections also give false positives for up to 8-9 days after your last injection. So rather than a 2ww, it is closer to a 3ww.

They also told me that I am taking the injection because I have such a short LP - usually less than 10 days because I ovulate so late in my cycle. They feel the injections work better for trying to prolong the LP.
