Ellipses Endometrin

Hi All

Long time browser, first time poster.

My husband and I did our first B2B IUI's on Nov. 3 and Nov. 4.

Day 3-7 Clomid 150
Nov. 2 follies RT- 16mm LT- 20mm | Trigger 3pm | BD at night
Nov. 3 IUI - 15 million post wash count, motile 4pm
Nov. 4 IUI - 30 million post wash count, motile 10am
Nov. 6 - present Endometrin 100mg 2X daily
Nov. 17 FMU
Nov. 18 FMU, Quant HCG pending

Me: Low progesterone
Him: Low morphology

My question: I have been testing negative for the last two days 13 dpiui (2nd) and 14 dpiui (2nd). But I have not started AF. Does endometrin delay AF?

Do you mean prometrium (progesterone)? Progesterone does delay AF. My RE said to take it for 14 days and then take a pregnancy test. If it is negative, stop taking the progesterone. AF should show up in about 3-7 days.

Hi Nelly

Yes, it is progesterone supplementation but it is not prometrium. The brand name is endometrin.

I called my RE and they sent me in for b/w.

I suppose that if it comes back neg. then its the progesterone that is doing its job and lengthening my luteal phase.

for a positive beta.

Just wanted to update for those who might be interested in the final outcome. I had negative bloodwork. I was told to stop progesterone and that I would start my cycle in a few days. If my cycle doesn't come in two weeks, provera will be prescribed to bring it on.

Good luck everyone!
