February 2012 2WW, let the party begin

Hi ladies,

I did not see the 2ww thread so, I just thought to start one! Right now, I am myself in limbo and would not know till February 8, where I am with my cycle as I have a cyst and we are going to try a natural cycle depending upon the cyst.

So, who has already started the 2WW.

and
Hope to see a lot of

Farah

Had my IUI yesterday so I'm officially in the always fun, never painfully drawn-out 2ww. This is IUI #1 for us so I've got a lot of the naive, newbie excitement and optimism. Trying to keep that in check, but not be completely devoid of hope.

Praying this is a great month of all of us!!

Thanks, Farah! I hope your cyst is gone by the time of your appt next week. I've had to sit out 2 of my last 5 cycles because of cysts so I definitely know the frustration that comes with those little buggers.

I'm in here, too! My IUI was early this AM. IUI #4. *sigh* I'm getting better about the 2ww. Too much practice doing it!

On a side note, I'm not cramping like crazy like the last two times. So I suppose that is good. The nurse told me to NOT go home and lay around. That is was best to be up and to keep moving to get things to work. Well, I had to be on the jobsite, so I had no choice anyway. But I honestly think moving and walking around helped with the cramping. I mean, my poor little uterus is a bit sore, but not nearly as bad as I usually feel.

Good luck to us!

I am so with you! Since December 6, I have been waiting to have my first IUI. Anovulatory cycles have kept me from that. The doc prescribed Clomid, so I'll be taking that on CD5-9 (once finally decides to show up). So, I'm hoping to have my first IUI this February. You hit the nail on the head about "naive, newbie excitement and optimism." I'd be lying if I said I didn't think it was going to happen for me on my first try. But at the same time, I know the odds of that being true are so incredibly slim. Good luck to you! I'll be keeping up with you in post!

I start the 2WW on Monday. This is our 3rd round of IUI (3rd times a charm right). I used Gonal F and tomorrow night at 10pm I will do my Ovidrel shot, and of course I will be working so I will stow away in the bathroom for this. Good thing I work at a hospital, plenty of alcohol wipes and sharps containers around. Good luck to everyone during the painful 2WW.

P.S. Ovidrel makes me feel horrible. It causes the worst symptoms in me, next to cloimd that is

I'd like to join you ladies.

I'm 5dpiui w/ds. This is our first IUI using donor sperm so I have that first time "its finally going to work" excitement as well.

I know it's early but things just feel different for me this time. All week I've felt pressure or tugging in my uterus. Today I've cried a couple of times while watching "Tabatha Takes Cover" which is not like me at all. There is very little to cry about on that show. LOL! Also, may be tmi, I've been super gassy the last two days. Anyone else have any early signs?

I have always gone back to work after my iui's. I had a little bit of cramping throughout the day but really the worst cramps where while I was laying on the table for the 15 minutes after the procedure. So I can totally see how the movement afterwords would help to reduce the cramping throughout the day.

Good Luck to us all!!!
