Julie,

Our 15 year wedding anniversary is the end of August! Once more people know we're expecting, they'll wonder what took us so long. LOL!

I need to find you that T-shirt that instead of "keep on truckin'" says "keep on f****in" I'm so glad you will keep tryin' with the injections.

wantababybad -

BFN = big fat negative and BFP = big fat positive. If you go to the top of your screen, there is a button for 'Acronyms'. Click on that and it will help you decifer all the lingo.

Welcome!!

Haha Gemma. I've thought the same thing. I know what it's supposed to mean, but I still read it as B*ahem*N.

I'm sorry about the results and I know there are no words that can make it better, but my heart goes out to you.

Julie,
I can't say enough how sorry I am. It just sucks, plain and simple. I am inspired by the motto...Those who risk, win. I'll be using that as my personal mantra to get through my upcoming IVF cycle. Leave it to you to be inspiring even when you've been thru h*ll. Thank you for that, that's one of the many reasons I come here every day. Here's to a BFP next time.

Julie,
Just read your message as i was NYC seeing my new RE and havent been on the forum for 2 days. I am so sorry that things did not go your way. But you have such a great attitude that things will surely go your way.
Have a nice bottle of wine (all of it), with your partner and watch the sunset it works for me! It just reminds me that tomorrow is a new day....cheesy i know but we all need some cheese in our life!

Julie,
Yeah it did. Finally a doctor that earned his degree. I will start IVF in september or November. I have to figure that one out as one of my best friends is getting married in September and my ET would be on her wedding day. She of course says no problem, but i dont know. The IVF nurse said we all put our life on hold for IF, and miss so many important things, so she suggested i start in november. Plus i will miss classes but when i get back we will be in exams,...so no stress.....who knows....whereas if i do ivf in september i will walk into 5 classes for the first time in october.
NYC was amazing and HOT but we still managed to shop and sightsee for 7 hours!! My legs still hurt.

Either way i am happy to have found an RE who can make a difference

Heart

Well, they wouldn't do my mamogram. I told the tech that I'd had THRE BFNs and a very odd and light period. I also told her I had a funny feeling. I told her on Monday my RE said it was ok, but she said she'd prefer to follow my "funny feeling" than my RE. She said she'd bled a little the first month she was pregnant, and she'd rather be safe than sorry. She said a mamogram can wait a few months. A potential pregnancy is more important. She was sweet. I don't know why, I still FEEL like there is a chance I'm pregnant. The tech asked me about my boobs! And I told her that actually this morning it seemed like the left one wasn't going to fit in the cup! She seemed to think that was a hopful sign. I guess I'm in the wait and see pattern. Uh, I still haven't weeded yet, ROBIN You were right about the 100 degree weather, feels like 119 today!!!
