Angry natural LH surge while on Follistim!!!

Hi all,
My blood test registered a natural LH surge today...so the nurse asked me to take the Hcg shot(ovidrel) today...n iui is scheduled for tom...but my lead follies(2 of them) r still at 15 n i have couple more at 14...so there is not much hope for this cycle...ive been told that if i do one more cycle they'll give me another shot to prevent this natural LH surge...im so pissed right now...y cldnt they've taken precaution earlier??? is there any hope for me? do u guys have some idea abt this? im already on cd15 n ive done 11 days of stims...now all i can do is pray...

Kathy,
Unfortunately I don't know what to say in this matter. I didn't use injectibles, just the ovidrel after my natural LH surge with clomid. What I do want to do is wish you luck, try to stay positive and hope for the best!

Kathy,
Keep hoping.....IUIs are often not successful the first few times.....it is a learning process....it often takes 3 or more tries just to get in tune with your system. (I know, not what any of us want to hear) Hang in there!

Beta #1=50, #2=67, #3=104, #4=359 (bleeding,U/S shows pooling of blood in uterus, miscarriage suspected stopped PIOs), #5=1600 (confirmed ectopic, another implantation?)....MTX again

FET never happened on Aug 14th...embryo did not survive thawing...HSG confirmed left tube is blocked (side of ectopics)...right tube seemed blocked but opened during procedure (OUCH!!!!!)

WE ARE DONE
....IF treatments over.

What cr**!!! My RE automatically had me taking Ganirelix to stave off the surge until she felt the follicles were ready. I took 2 -3 injections of that along with stims after about 8 days of stims (so, say day 7, 9 and 11 of stims) then the next day (day 12) take the hcg (or ovidrel) trigger.

I hope this cycle still works, but if not, I hope your doc will watch this better!!

Thanks guys...i just have to hope for the best in this...

Angie .... thats exactly my sentiment...they shld have prevented this...am in not paying them for this??? we'r gonna let the doc have it big time...i am so livid...but i guess anger's not gonna change what's happnd...i just wish i didnt have to deal with "recklessness" on top of infertility...
