BigK! Don't worry about the disappearing symptoms. The initial symptoms you had could have been from the HCG trigger shot. As that shot leaves your body you can lose some of those symptoms. But that was a big shot all at one time so you may have felt it (I did). When you get pg, the HCG builds up slowly and some women have symptoms, some don't. Don't count this cycle out yet!

awwww thank you!! I'm trying not to worry but I didn't have a HCG shot...
All I did was 25mg of clomid from days 3-7, then had the post coital test on day 13 the day I had a + OPK and it showed I kill his sperm. That very same Dr. appt they told me they wanted me to do an IUI the very next day (Sept 1st)!! They did an ultrasound that day also and it showed 3 follicles 18mm and yea, that's it... I had the IUI on Sat and that Monday the 3rd... I am so crabby and sad... my little brother is getting married this Sat... and not sure if I can take a HPT that morning or not... I should start AF on Sun or Monday.... UGHGHGH any suggestions...

Well, then the 'first here then not there' symptoms can still be explained. Clomid will do it to ya.

Definitely don't POAS on your brother's wedding day. If it is negative, you will just be sad for the occasion. And even if it is negative, it doesn't mean that you aren't pregnant. Maybe you just implanted a little late. Maybe you don't have enough HCG in you to pick up on a HPT.

I know it is hard, but try to stay positive. Having a back up plan for the next cycle is good. If you do have to do another IUI, make sure it is planned well. Are you with an Ob/gyn? If so, find an RE right away! Sounds like you respond well with clomid so your issue will be timing. It also sounds like your Dr. did the IUI too early. With my first IUI, I had a CD12 u/s and it showed my follie (I only had 1) to be at 17. I came back for a CD14 u/s and my follie was at 21. That night they had me do the trigger shot and come in 36 hours later for the IUI. The IUI worked, although it was ectopic

Yea the symotoms were HORRIBLE last weekend!! OMG... I was dying last Saturday night... we actually had a dinner party at our house and I had to go to bed while everyone ate and had a blast! My stomach was cramping so bad! UGH Lower back pain blah blah, you name it, I had it all the way up till Moday... it all stopped... WEIRD! I know I shouldn't test, but that will be sooo hard... I so want to be prepared to start AF and not be surprised... I do have an OB, but she referred me to an RE.. I think that's what he's called, lol, he's great for now... lots of u/s and blood tests.. I had a progesterone test one week after + ovulation test and it was 18.9... I guess that's normal... WHO KNOWS... I am so sick of searching on the internet wondering what's normal, what's not... just so frustrating ya know!

I know it is hard to wait when it comes to POAS. Personally, I probably couldn't wait. I was just telling you the BEST thing you should probably do. But it is hard.

Your progesterone levels sound good.

Hello I'm new to this forum.
My husband and I have been trying for a year now. But I have been waiting for a baby for 7 years (started from a previous marriage) I found out then that I have low hormones or something. The doctors wern't to suspific about it. 5 years ago I managed to get pregnant but lost the baby after 8 weeks. The baby wasn't growing.
Now with my new husband we have been to the hospital and had all the tests and not only do I have my problem but my husband has a low sperm count. He has 6% that move/swim.
The doctor has done more tests on my husband to see if we can do IUI. If that fails then it's IVF but we find out on the 26th of this month.
I am really struggling with this and hope that some one can help me with my many questions. For ages I have felt that I was the only one going through this because all my family around me and friends are having babies and it's hard to talk to them about it co's they don't understand what it is we're going through.
I'll leave it at that for now.. hehe...

Hi, my name is Gennie and my husband and I have been TTC for almost 2 years. We have had 1 IUI and have #2 planned for monday if everything is the right size. I've been taking clomid days 3-7 and HCG right befor the IUI. I am wondering how many times to try IUI befor IVF? My Dr. does not do IVF so I'll have to find one that does. These hormones are making my super cranky and my DH is trying so hard to be extra nice. Sometimes I feel sooo sad and angery.

My name is Roxanne. Hubby and I have only been TTC for a few months. I noticed that my body was starting to play tricks on me so, I went to GYN and IF DR. Thank God!!! Doctor believes that I am going thru Early onset Menopause . Dr. really wanted to go directly to IVF but my insurance won't pay for it until I have at least 3IUIs. Dr. said he will be very aggressive. I hope so!!!!

Hello Everyone! I just joined this group today and am really exicted I have been reading the posts and thought this would be a good place for me! I had a tubal reversal 6 years ago and no baby yet tried clomid 2 cycles the rest natural. I am now doing a combination of clomid and injectables. I started my first does of clomid today. I got my period on 9-14-07. Please pray that this is it for us. We have been trying for so long!

Hi everyone! If this cycle is a bust we are going to have our first (and hopefully last ) IUI in October. I am REALLY excited about it! We have been TTC since March 2006 and I have PCOS. I will be having an IUI with Clomid and Metformin. This is my third cycle on the Metformin and it has made me O on my own but we haven't been able to catch that egg yet. Good luck to everyone!!!
