Hi Everyone! I've been part of the Clomid Forums for a while and just got a after my 3rd cycle of Clomid 100 mg and Timed Intercourse. I started getting double vision on it so my RE has decided to move me on to injectibles (Follistim), Ovidrel trigger, and IUI (B2B).

I'm looking forward to meeting some of you, getting advice, support, etc.

For now, I'm just waiting for to come and then CD 2 or 3 I start the injectibles.

This is my first post! I am new here and I came for the support of others going through exactly what I am going through. It is soo comforting to read all to the threads. I have diminishing ovarian reserve. I just had an IUI today and I feel like the next 2 weeks until the blood test are going to be the longest 2 weeks ever. I had 1 follicle (19mm) - I did 6 days of injections of Menopur (225). My estrogen level on Day 9 was 243. Day 10 (today) was the IUI. I did a trigger yesterday. I am praying and extremely hopeful this time, but would love to hear from others if anyone else has had success with the same numbers. My husbands sperm was awesome. Thank God!

Hi! Just joined today...finding this forum to be so helpful. My DH and I started TTC about 4 years ago. I got pregnant naturally in Feb and had an ectopic. That was devastating to say the lease. We are starting our 1st IVF next month. Excited and Nervous!

Hi! I am another newbie. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and hypothyroidism. I am on CD1 and this cycle is our first using Clomid and IUI, pending a good HSG next week. My husband also has retrograde ejaculation, but his sperm count and motility are really good, and Sudafed makes him temporarily antegrade which is how we will collect those swimmers for the IUI!

Hope this is your month! Lots of us had our IUIs at the same time as you - come join us on the 2ww thread in the IUI forum!

Hi everyone. I'm also new to the forum. My DH and I have been TTC for about 4 years. We MC'd at Christmas in 2006. We're going for our first IUI this month. RE says I'm at an elevated risk for OHSS. I'll go in tomorrow morning for US and to discuss the plan. I hope we don't have to cancel the cycle!

I have been married for 16 years, we have been ttc without medical support for 12 years and about 1 year with medical help. I have low progesterone and my husband has low semen volume due to a partial blockage but normal count, morphology and motility.

This month is our third IUI cycle. The first one we did 50mg of Clomid CD 3 - 7, the second one we did 100mg of Clomid CD 4 - 8 and this month we are doing 7 days of Clomid (150mg of Clomid CD3 100mg of Clomid CD4 - 9) followed with a hCG trigger shot the day I get my LH surge. I am currently on CD5.

I just joined a few minutes ago. I am 29 and my husband is 31. We just started our first cycle of clomid with IUI, and I'm cycle day 10 today. We are completely normal, they couldn't find any reason for our inability to conceive, so this is all totally unexpected and overwhelming (as I'm sure many understand this). We have been trying for almost 2 years, and I've been off birth control for 2 1/2 years. I joined because I know no one else going through this and am looking for some sort of support. I look forward to learning from you all and getting to know you!!

I have been reading this forum for awhile now. Decided to share my story since so many on here have helped me. It is a relief to know that there are others out there that really know and understand what we are going through. It's so hard when I come from a huge family and everyone seems to have "oops" pregnancies and here I am struggling. My DH and I have been not trying to "not get pregnant" for 2 1/2 yrs now. I am 28, DH 27. We finally took the step to get checked out. I think we were both afraid what "problems" would arise. It turns out, nothing seems to be wrong, all tests results have been squeaky clean. So the diagnosis was "unexplained infertility". I have been on Clomid (50mg) for the last three months. This month is Clomid and IUI. IUI most likely will be Monday. I'm a little nervous but at the same time very excited. I am not looking forward to the 2ww. We will be doing a lot of for a , not only for us but for everyone! Thanks everyone for sharing and also for the encouragement. I will keep you all posted.

I'm Amreeta and I'm 31 and my DH is 36. We have been married 4 years next month and have been trying to get pregnant for 2 1/2 years.
A year after trying with no success I booked in to see a gynaecologist.DH reluctant as saying it would just happen!Had all my tests...all normal.DH tested and found low motility.Tried naturally with 3 cycles of clomid early last year, no luck
DH's job bought us to India from the UK so decided to have all tests repeated. This time found a polyp in my uterus and had it removed via hysteroscopy.Laproscopy showed twisted right tube, which did show free spill after injecting dye. Advised to try naturally, no luck again. Was surprised that a month prior to all this nothing was picked up in the UK with a private gyn.
This year had 3 cycles of Letoval and again (naturally)
May 08: Clomid days 2-6, Daily Follicular Study with U/S,Inj Ovidac to rupture follicle and 1st IUI done.Good motility.Used progesterone suppositories for 5 days*2.
20/05/08: Day 8 after IUI . I did'nt even get to wait for 2 weeks.

21/05/08: Round 2 of clomid for 2nd IUI this month started (Days 2-6) And inj. puregon 75 which is FSH 75 IU on days 5,7,9,11.Follicular study again, then ovidac to rupture follicle when 18*20mm.

I must say the plus point of being in India is that even in the best of hospitals, treatment does not cost an arm and a leg. Our medical insurance does not cover fertility treatment (UK ones dont). With all the medications, U/S, IUI and dr's appointments we have paid approx £150.
We have decided to have 2 more IUI's then move on to IVF. I am an emotional wreck.Everyone I know is pregnant or just had a baby.I'm happy for them, I just want to have a baby too.

Hi, I am 24 and so is my husband. We have been TTC for 12 months and we began testing about a month ago. We found out that I am just fine - everything is ideal. However, we also found out that my husband has a very low morphology count and a varicocele. I have also just learned that two of my girlfriends are expecting and weren't even trying. I am just very overwhelmed and don't really have anyone to talk to about this. This site seems like a great place. Thanks!

Hello all and good morning. I joined this site yesterday and posted 1 or 2 posts. I am hoping I have found the right group and the right group of ladies the share symptoms, stories and all that fun stuff.

My name is Nicole but I go by Colee, my hubby and I have been married 3 yrs this coming June. I have a daughter from a previous relationship, she is my all natural miracle baby. Our son we call our miracle, but for different reasons. My dh and I ttc for 12 months before we sought a specialist. Come to find out I have a annovulatory problem, a few fribroids and maybe PCOS (hasn't been comfirmed) my DH was born with indecendent testes and his sperm count is low with motility not the greatest. My dh almost lost his life to a fire back in 04, which made him decide to go forth with donor sperm to have a baby. We did 3 months of 50mg Clomid and HCG trigger, IUI and worked first try. Our son is a very healthy and active 2 yr old.

We had moved from the East to the West and decided that in Sept 06 (8 months after our son was born) that we wanted to try again. our infertility dr told us before we left that yes my DH has enough sperm to knock me up so we could try on our own. Started 50mg of Clomid Dec 06, nothing. Tried natural from Jan 07 to Apr. 07 nothing, Went to an OB who put me on Clomid in May. Took it from May to August, no luck. Sept, upped the dose to 100mg, no luck again. Scheduled IUI for Oct, was a no go because FEDEX put our sperm on the wrong plane, had really good follies on my left. Did another IUI in Nov. did one more in Dec and I just knew that it didn't take. We decided to wait until the end of 08 to the beginning of 09, but I got bit by the baby bug and wanted to try again. Went to a new dr, one who actually does this stuff for a living. Told me that we could do it this cycle or wait. We decided this cycle. I am currently in my 1 ww. I am this one works and the baby sticks...

Hi Everyone,

I just joined the group yesterday because tomorrow I am started my #1 IUI and I was looking for a supportive forum.

We have been trying to conceive for 20 months. I was diagnosed in the fall with hyperprolactinemia which is currently under control with Dostinex. My prolactin levels have gone down from 65 in August to 2.8 in April.

This cycle I have been on Clomid and Ovidrel and tomorrow will be my first #1 IUI. I am hoping to find a supportive forum and a place where I can discuss my process and hear from others in similar places. At times, it has been a lonely and stressful process.
