Hi all

My first time here. Thought it would be nice to share my experiences with others in the situation. So right, here's my story. My hubby and I have been trying to conceive for about 3 years now. Last year I went on three cycles of Clomid. Nothing happened!!! All tests show that apart from a slightly low sperm count (which apparently is quite common) my hubby and I should be able to conceive .

I underwent my first IUI cycle in March this year. It involved Fertomid (Clomid generic), Gonal F shots and the Ovidrel trigger shot. I think I ovulated well before the 36-40 hour time. Needless to say the IUI was unsuccessful but hey...I did end up with a very nice CYST!!! As a result of the cyst and travel obligations I had to put any further IUI's on hold for my next two cycles. I had my second IUI done on 21 June 2008. So am now in the dreaded 2ww. A few more days to go before I do the blood test!

The symptoms so far have been quite a trip!

It seems that our test dates are pretty close. My 2ww ends on 05 July 2008. I'll hold thumbs for you although they're hurting already from being crunched for the last 11 days :-)

When I was 20 I got married we ttced for about 3 yrs and nothing. We got all the test done and said all clear. We did a few rounds of clomid nothing. Our marriage ended a few years later. I had settled into the fact that I would never have kids because of finances. I met some one new and got pg the night we got married. I was on BCP for about 6 month I had really bad reactions to them. We did 5 rounds of clomid nothing but a cyst. Did one more once the cyst was gone. Switched doctor was able to get test found out DH has low morph and motility. We are now doing our 1st IUI with clomid it is starting to look like maybe this weekend. After doing alot of reading on the IUI forum here I dont have much hope that it will work.

I must be doing something wrong, but i have posted about 5 threads or posts and I get no answers or responces to them.

How do I know that people are seeing my posts?
I reply to some people. No answer.
I am so lost here. First IVF and scared to death and would really like someone who has been through it to help. Woudl really like to be involved in some of the discussions.

Hi I have been on this site for a while now. My dh and I have been trying to conceive for over 3 years now and it has been so sad.
I had things from my past life hurt me and I felt for so long that I would not be able to have children and that really played a part in my emotinal issue with it.
Then we talked to my obgy and she send us to infertility specialist and my dh and i went through tests.

we found out that i am ok as far as they see just my mind needs to change, but my dh has verococile-low sperm counts.

We struggled with the issue of either trying for adoption or IVF and we have been doing IVF all of June and I do not know of anyone else that I know that has done it so I would love to hear answers to my questions of the things we have been going through during our month of IVf.

Right now we are waiting to get the PGT and to see if it took. I have been feeling horrible off and on from it as they increase this drug or decrease that drug and so forth.
Not sure what the pains mean. Very scared and praying God will bless us.

I have had a long journey with infertility. I am currently on the lupron microdose flare protocol that involves 4 shots a day. 2 lupron and 2 gonal F. I go tomorrow for bloodwork and ultrasound. I am that they won't cancel this cycle. The stress of this is starting to get to me. I am hoping to connect with others with the same issues. Its hard to find people who really understand what we are going through. I am on CD6.

I've been ttc for about 2 years now. DH and I are getting ready to try our first IUI. We're both a little nervous, but I think he's more worried about me. These threads have been great as easing my fears though. Thanks for that, btw.

congrats on the 3 yeah for you guys and they are all ok.

Please tell me how you felt while waiting to get tested for PGT? I am going insane. 3 transferred and I have been waiting now for 8 days and 7 more to go till the test. I have been having weird feelings and symptoms off and on. I keep thinking something is wrong and I have noone to talk to that has gone through this.

Hi Everyone,

It is amazing to see that almost all of us go through the same emotions.
I have been TTC for 2 years. Did 3 cycles of clomid without IUI. Tried my first IUI 2 months back with clomid and ovidril injection and it was unsuccessful . Went for another IUI this month.
Will have to wait for 10 more days to get a result .
I am so tired of seeing negative results that I dont even want to think about it.. but the wait is killing me
My husband's sperm count, motility is perfect. I have been diaganosed with PCOS. Anyone with PCOS who has an IUI success story to share?

I joined last week as well. We have been ttc since 2005. Both DH and I are perfectly fine, so they say!

Did first IUI this morning, now the waiting begins!!!

Hi Orzo.. Its going to be tough waiting for 2 weeks before u can take an hpt.. I am also in the 2ww period and am sooo hoping that it works this time around .. Hope u get lucky too and have a BFP... lots of luck and babydust!!!

Hello all,

My name is Kim - my husband and I have been trying to conceive for 5 years. We have a son 6.5 years (naturally conceived) and had one miscarriage in May 2006 we have tried 6 cycles of clomid with no luck. We are now going into the IUI program. We meet for the consultation next week. What can we expect? Just curious and wondering. Any input (success stories, useful tips and other therapies that have helped).
