Hello Everyone,
I just joined today so I am new to this. I wanted to introduce myself and look forward to meeting many new friends here! My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 5 years. We went to our first appointment at a fertility clinic the beginning of this year. I have had bw, us and hsg done and am diagnosed with unexplained infertility. In the August we will be trying our first IUI with Clomid and injectables. I am pretty nervous, depressed and stressed out about this whole journey! If anyone could help please let me know!!

Hello.
Im new as of an hour ago. I have been ttc for over a year and done all the tests possible and Dh is great. I know I can get pregnant, was once in late 20's and early 30's but did not go through with them....feel like Im being paid back (so to speak)
Underwent first IUI with 2nd round of 50mg clomid.
I have a narrow cervix apparently because my hsg and the iui were difficult to accomplish. It took a clear 10 - 15 minutes to complete. Slightly discomforting due to the docs having to try diff. things.
So DH and I did the baby dance on Wed and Fri got shot then sat went in and had IUI.
crampy most all afternoon into Sun morn. Still feeling full but better.
would maybe do it again but... not sure. The clomid gave me hot night sweats this time and it wasnt so great.
I know its worth it in the end.
now I have the 2ww. BLAH! anyone else on my schedule this month? awaiting a

I'm on CD8, and just finished 5 days of arimidex. Continuing with more menopur 75iu injections. U/s today showed 14 follies - 1 at 12mm and 13 under 10mm. Waiting for u/s Thursday to figure out what's next. This is our 1st iui. DH is perfectly fine. I have stage iv endo and have had 2 open laps in the last 18 months. Day 3 FSH this cycle was 13.1. We've previously done 4 cycles of clomid and 1 round letrozole with timed bd'ing. Miscarriage in January at 5 weeks. Praying we can do this iui! Anyone else getting ready?

Hi ladies,
I'm just starting this whole journey. My husband and I have been married for 2 years now, ttc 1 year. During our year we tried 3 rounds of Clomid with no success. And later found out that my husband has severe morphology issues.
We just saw the RE for the first time and will try IUI this Aug. For anyone experienced with IUI, I have a few questions:
1. I'm having trouble finding Novarel (Per Walgreens, supposedly it's on long-term backorder), anyone have experience with online pharmacies that are good?

2. I have a short trip (48 hrs) scheduled during the month that I HAVE to go on (I'm taking medical boards). What is the latest CD that anyone has had their IUI? I'm afraid that I will be gone the exact days that I will need to be at the doctor's for the U/S and IUI. I guess if I will be gone I should just wait until September?

This seems like a very supportive community and I look forward to getting to know all of you ladies.

Michelle, You set up your IUI for the day after you get a positive OPK or have an u/s and trigger shot. If you'll be out of town in the middle of your cycle you might want to wait until next month...

Hi everyone,

I am Lola, and DH and I have been ttx since 10/05, so going on 3 years. Got BFP in March of this year, M/C in April at 9 weeks.

We just started the treatment journey. I have one fibroid, which doc says will not be a problem. DH has lower count, but doc also says manageable. I have just started clomid, and we will do our first IUI in August.

I am VERY NERVOUS, cus OPKs have been so frustrating to me in past, and timing is so important as we live 3 hours from clinic!!!!!

Just wanted to join and seek support from those of you who understand!!

I am new as well! blocked tubes and need to have the procedure done! Very nervus! Has anyone else had this done! Tubal Cannulization? I have no clue what I am in for!!!

Positive new finally! U/s on Thursday showed good follies, so we'll trigger tonight and IUI Monday a.m.! I'm so excited, but really trying not to get our hopes up.

Michelle - For the Novarel, ask your re's office about mail order. I am in an area where it's very tough to find ANY of the drugs I am taking, but they have them Fed-Ex'd to me, and I have them the next day! It's so convenient! The IUI will depend on when they feel you have good follies, for me it's CD14. Good luck and babydust!

Lola - we live four hours away, so we trigger instead of OPK. Might be something to try.

It seems that it's gonna be hurry up and wait...hurry up and wait some more.

Hello to all, I'm not exactly new to this site I've been here for a few months but I am new to IUI's this being my first month. I'm 34 and DH is 35, I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 19 so I knew if I wanted to get pregnant in the future I would need fertility treatment. I started trying in Dec 07, I did 3 cycles of clomid & metformin with GYN to no avail. I was referred on to a fertility clinic and have completed my first month with Puregon & Ovidrel with IUI and am waiting till the 08/08/08 to see if we had any success. I have really long cycles of 50-60 days so have only had 4 attempts in 8 months but I did have a month break in between. Good luck to everyone and lots of baby dust to all.

Just join last 3 days. I have been TTC for the past 6 months, Got married 20 July last year. So, it has been a year only two of us.

My FIL has been asking me when are we giving him grandchildren bla bla bla etc.....

Give lots of pressure to us. Typical Asians..

At first, I thought I am the only one who has this problem.. now I can see so many of me in here. And some of you has already suceed to be a mom.. Hope to be one soon!!

Thanks for the warm welcome and the info to get Novarel. I ended up finding it at Costco on a whim! I'm just finishing up my Clomid tonight. I go for a saline sonohystogram on Mon. Has anyone else had one? Is it painful? They told me to expect cramps.

Does anyone else think they should buy stock in OPK companies? I have bought so many!!!

Hopefully they can tell me something about my follicles on Monday (CD10) because I have to skip town on CD17 and hope that it doesn't screw up this cycle!

hi!! i am new here, though i've been on some other sites similar to this one, i've found more info. and similar stories to my own on this one! my DH and i are both 31, TTC for 3 years, married 3yrs (will be 4 in march)...DH diagnosed last year with Klinefelter's syndrome..a genetic condition that causes infertility...open biopsy done to look for sperm, but none found...unable to afford the TESE procedure to keep looking for sperm, so we have to decided to do IUI with SD in or around jan 2009! I have no fertility probs that i know of..yet! praying that i don't...i have normal regular periods every month and ovulate regularly also. We also start foster to adopt classes next week...we are excited about both journeys and we are praying for a baby or two or three or.....I hope to make lots of friends on here going through IUI, and i'm always here for anyone needing to vent!! thanks for the support and encouragement!!

Hi everyone!!! I'm 25 years old and ready to be a mommy. I have PCOS and started treatment in May with Clomid. It didn't work I did my first IUI treatment and tomorrow is my 16th day after the treatment and haven't seen my period. I'm so exited to go in tomorrow for blood work to see if I'm pregnant. I have faith in GOD that the treatment worked . I've been feeling a couple of symptoms, but don't know if it's because I'm pregnant or maybe because of the treatment. I signed in to read other ladies testimonies and hoping there is someone that has done IUI and worked for them. God Bless everyone and lets keep our hopes up!!!!
