I joined today. I have being TTC for 22 months. I start Menopur injections this cycle and am also having an IUI. I'm very nervous. We have been trying for a while. We found out 08/27/08 that we both have a minor problem. DH morphology, me egg quality low.
I have very short cycles ranging from 26 to 27 days. It's been an emotional rollercoaster as I know everyone here understands. I joined to get insight from all the ladies here trying and going through the whole Fertility Regimen. Baby Dust to all!

Jelly, good luck. I recently joined as well, and it has been very helpful! You get answers to things you don't want to call up the dr's office for, as well as support, and new ideas that you Dr might not have told you about. I love it, and I check it every day at lunch!

Just joined today. However, I have been lurking on here for a long time. I have unexplained fertility and DH has low motility and low testosterone.

After injectibles and an IUI I finally conceived my DS back in 2004 and got my . He is the center of my world, and all I want now is to give him a little brother or sister. He asked me if he could "pretty please have a little baby that was his". I couldn't say no, especially since I wanted another one so bad! My husband is an only child, and I want my son to have someone once he gets old. I want another child to complete our family.


Me 33, DH 40, Married for 15 years, TTC since 2001 (haven't done anything to prevent it even after DS)
Unexplained Diagnosis (me), Motility and Morphology issues for hubby

2004 Spring, Metformin, Clomid (DH and Self), IUI (no meds)

2004 Fall, Metformin, Clomid (DH) IUI with Gonal-F Son born April 22,2005 (Earth day... funny, he's the center of our world!)


2008 August Ovulation tracking, and 3 results (hoped first two tests were wrong)

2008 September 1st, Cycle Day One
September 2nd Started Follistim Injectibles (major stomach issues, but it might be from AF)

September 11th Ultrasound scheduled


Trying not to be greedy, but I just want my little boy to have a lifelong friend. My family needs to be complete.

I just joined today and am very excited to join this group. I have looked at this site for over 2 years and never reached out for support. I am starting Femara tomorrow and Follistim on 09/09/08. Feeling a little overwhelmed with all the medication and making sure I do it right. Best wishes to everyone!!

hi im new here as well. im 29 yrs old and my name is jamie. me and my hubby have been ttc for going on 3 yrs now. the first year i got pregnant but had an etopic. this caused a blockage in my right tube. nearly a year later i got pregnant again but suffered what we think was a miscarriage. though our dr said it could have been another etopic since the methatrxate took so long to work. i have had 2 hsg and both show my left tube is open. hubby has been tested and has no problems. after the second loss i experienced horrible cysts from coming off of clomid. finally in june we were able to try again this time with a new dr and letrozole. we've had 2 iui that didn't work and our 3rd is monday. this time will be our first time with bravelle and iui. we are praying God will bless us with a baby soon . i don't really have anyone that im close to that i can talk about this with or ask questions. im glad these forums are here. they are a great place to find info and support from people who understand what you are going through.

I'll be going to see a nurse today about the IUI treatment I'll be going on and wonder what are the best questions to ask.

Beause I'm forty , I want to be sure I don't waste more time andmake mistakes. I'm new to the IUI but have had three IVFs before. I found them difficult on every level and thought to try IuI rather than give up hope. I used to disconnect from the medical ascts and let them just "do " it. This time,I want to know more. Your help would be really appreciated.

Hi Everyone! I am so happy to find this place. I probably am going to seem so young to everyone, but I have been trying for over a couple of years now. I am 25. I have been on 8 rounds of Chlomid, 2 rounds of femara, HCG shots and follicle studies, and am now going to do femara again with FSH shots and IUI. My estrogen level is a 0.9 and i'm getting a little frustrated with the drugs not working one bit. Did the FSH shots work for anyone or do you think it's best to do IVF? It's so nice to have people to relate to b/c everyone around me seems to have no problem getting prego. Thanks for the support!

Hi Everyone,

My DH and I have been TTC since May of 2007. We started fertility tests in May of 2008. My DH started with a seman analysis... both came back Low Count Low Motility.
I have hypothyroidism and have been taking Levothyroxin for 3 years to balance out my thyroid levels. Other than that I do not have any problems.

We started seeing Dr. Storment in Lafayette, LA in July and he is positive that we will be able to get pregnant with IUI!!

We started the process last Tuesday (9/9/2008) with an ultrasound, I have 3-5 small follies on each side, and he put me on a round of Femara/Letrozole (10 pills all at one time). I have an appt tomorrow (9/16/2008) to see if my follies are big enough and then we will proceed with the IUI!!!

gbaby2009 I am at about the same place as you at this point. I took femara/follistim and just triggered tonight. I don't know what to make of all my numbers but I assume its pretty good since I did trigger.
