Hi everyone! Like most, I've been lurking for a while and am finally beginning to post. DH and I have been TTC for about 2 years. Went to RE a few months ago....I'm fine, DH has low motility and low morph. So we are going with IUI with Clomid right now. Glad to be here and finally posting. I haven't told many people what we are going through, neither has DH. So reading these posts has helped greatly.

New to this...

I am a 29 year old happily married woman. I have been ttc for over two years. Have been seeing a RE for about seven months. I just started my fourth cycle with a combination of Clomid and Menopur. I have been coming to this site for a while, but was a little intimidated. I think I was a little afraid of admitting that I am having trouble getting pregnant. Love to read the posts as it gives me great hope.

Hi There:

My husband and I have been TTC for 2.5 years, unexplained fertility. I have undergone 2 unsuccessful IUIs with clomid 100mg. Attempt three on Jan 31st. Three times a charm!

It is nice to see so many others with similar circumstances. Sometimes I feel completely alone.

Smile New Here

Hi. My name is Kellie and I'm so glad I found this forum. I am 39 and my DH is 37. Neither of us have any children, and we have been TTC for a little over 2 years. I took six months of clomid . Last month I visited a RE and he suggested an agressive treatment due to my age. I had BW done last saturday to check my Fol. Stim. Hormone and even though it was high it was still within the normal range. I am taking clomid for the challenge test and go back this saturday to get needle poked again. I am scheduled for an US and HSG next Tuesday. They told me to take 800 mg of ibuprofen an hour before the procedure so I'm a little nervous now. If everthing look ok, I will be starting the IUI process.

Hi everyone,

I am new just joined today. My DH and I have been trying for 1 year after the lost of my baby. I had a miscarriage in 2003 and an infant death 2007. I have PCOS and currently on my second cycle of IUI. I am here looking for support. During my both of my pregnancies I suffer from hyperemesis and was hospitalized several times. My doctor is very careful that I don't have any mutilplies. If too many follicles are stimulated they won't do the IUI.

Charitee, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I wish you the best of luck in trying again to build your family and hope and pray it all works like a charm for you!

I'm new here as well, glad to find such a supportive place. Last weekend was our first attempt at IUI and I have NO idea what to expect and have been doing a lot of this: Waiting is so hard!

I'm not on any drugs, the doctor said we can try 6 cycles without Clomid and then if nothing happens after that, start using it thereafter. So here we are, in the 2WW- hooray!

Great to be here, wishing you all the best as well.

HI! im new to this site, just joined today. looking for some support through this difficult time. It might take a while to figure out all the abbreviations so bear with me lol. DH and I have been ttc for a little over a yr now. We have conceived twice naturally and both ended in a miscarriage. We've been seeing an RE since Oct. All tests came back negative and no explainations for recurrent mc. Started Follistim 75 on 1/24/09. Had 2 ultrasoounds with blood work. 1st u/s showed 3 follies on left and 2 on rt. 2nd showed 2 dominant follies both measuring at 13mm one on each side. still cont on follistim 75 then going back for u/s tomorrow. waiting for go ahead for hcg shot then iui. This is our 1st round of iui. Really trying not to get my hopes up. Anyone have success with the 1st IUI and follistim?

I have been ttc for 4 years and we have had 4 failed tc and 2 failed iui's. Really frustrated with the 2ww and just want to get prego already so we are turning to IVF. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated!

Just wanted to say hi.

I just wanted to introduce myself. I am 27 years old and have been trying for almost two years. I started off by taking Clomid for about 4 months. Then the doc. decided I should do an IUI. Waited all summer long till I started the IUI and they found a cyst on my uterus. I had surgery in Dec. and they decided not to remove it because it would do more harm than good. I just had my first iui on 1/29/09. I was taking on estrace days 1-15 and clomid days 3-7. I had an hcg injection on day 14 and the IUI on day 15. I was monitored by 3 different ultrasounds. I had 6 follies on monday...all too small and then three on Wednesday. The biggest one measured 19.2 and the other two were 15.4 and 9.1. I had an ultrasound on day 16....one day after the iui and my doc said I had ovulated. I am reallying praying this will be the month. Any advice would be really appricated. Good luck to all the other people out there trying to conceive. I feel like this is the hardest thing I have ever gone through and wouldn't wish this on anyone.

on 3rd iui

Hello everyone, I am new to this site and I have been looking for support from people who understand. My husband is in the military and getting out in April. I am a teacher and we have been married for almost 7 years. We have been ttc for 4 years and we are tired of the 2ww with a test! I won't even take those stupid tests any more because its to heart breaking. We are ready to move on and we get one more iui under our insurance before he is out of the military so we are going to do one more IUI then go to IVF. How has everyone else been doing and is this a good choice to go to IVF emotionally? We were under the unexplained IF but then in Nov. my husband has low motility all of a sudden and in Jan my dr said I have PCOS. So we are really down on our luck and want results! Let me know what u all would do or are doing...please!

Thanks

I totally understand how u feel u are in the worst part I think the 2ww is horrible. What I do is keep positive but expect the worst, this helps me to not be as disappointed but still hold my head high for 2 weeks. We usually get really downa nd face the reality when AF comes or the BFN happens. Thats what I wait for. I know its bad to bottle it in but it keeps me moving and only knocks me down for a day or two. Good luck, I hope this is your month!
