Hello ladies, My name is Ashley. DH and I will be married for 6 years this coming July. We have been trying to get pregnant for the last 5 years without success. We were looking into having my sister be a surrogate but no clinics will do an IUI on a surrogate. We have been off of treatments due to insurance but we are ready to get back in the game. I am hoping to get in to see a new RE in the next couple weeks and this will be it for us. for a ..!!!!

new

Hello there, my name is kaya and i am new here. I was wanting to know if anyone else out there has the same problem i do. I have a damaged tube from a tubule ectopic misscarriage. I have been trying for a couple of years since to try and get pregnant again but have no luck. I have been on clomid and the doctor said everything looks fine, so i don't know whats wrong with me. I am going on 28 and have no children yet. If anyone can help me with some info or other similar stories that would be awesome!

Kaya

Hi Ladies,

I am 32 and TTC since 3 yrs.
I am trying IUI, and today was my ultrasound, I am on CD 11, there are 3 follicles, 15, 13.5, 11.5 though 11.5 is not growing further, I wanted to know if any one of you has knowledge about this information and whether there are chances this month to conceive.

Pls write ur opinions, it really is encouraging.
Thanks & Regards,

Angela, I started out with six follicles that were growing. Then two. Then one that matured when I triggered. What happens sometimes is that one becomes the "lead" follicle -- or maybe a couple. You still have a chance if your estrogen is rising and the follies are growing.

kaya- it could be a number of things. have you had hsg, b/w, u/s, or any of the other millions of tests the REs like to look for? it can be a long journey, but good luck.

angelafer- you should come over to the may 10th through 17th iui thread!

Red face Thanx Pumkin pie and AllDeliverables,

Dear Pumkin Pie,
I have the same story, I started with 5 follicles, 2 on left and 3 on right.
now, 2 on right are still growing and 1 on left, though the left one is showing 11.5 from last three ultrasound, so I guess only two are dominant. But from Doctor's response, it looks like she is still not so happy with the response. I have taken Clomid and now 150UI Follistim, I am taking everyday.
I hope it works out, your feedback was very helpful.

Hey ALLDeliverables, do you have any other nick name, I am still new to this forum so still need to check the thread u mentioned.

Thanks once again,
Regards,
Angelafer

3rd IUI attempt

Hey to all! I am new on this forum and I have been reading it ever since my husband and I have been TTC for 2 years. Our RE says we have unexplained infertility so it's been really frustrating to go through 2 IUI's and they not work. My periods are really regular so I can tell pretty much a week after the IUI that it didn't work. We really want this 3rd IUI to work this time ...I went for my day 3 ultrasound toady (May 11) and My question is should I ask the doctors when I go back for my day 12 (May 20) ultrasound if I should try progesterone? Does anyone else have this same situation going on?

Hey welcome! Im in the same boat as you. Just finished our third IUI which obviously was we've tried just about everything and nothing has worked. What has your doctor done for you? Weve been tested for everything but i really want to be tested for endo but my doctor wont do it...he said even if i have that the procedure we're doing now should get us pregnant anyways... which isnt true so im kinda stuck. Let me no about the progesterone question... cuz i was wondering that myself. My prog. was good but i no some people who take it anyway...

My husband and I have been TTC for almost 2 years now. We had our first appoinment with the specialist in March. The OPK didn't pick up my ovulation on my last cycle so now I am on Clomid and they plan to give me hcG to trigger on 5.16 and then b2b IUIs on 5.17 and 5.18.

This forum is really encouraging. I love reading about the success others have had and hope that I can add my name to the list of success stories soon
