Smile Hi, first IUI tomorrow afternoon.

Good Afternoon everyone! I am new to the forums and I have my first IUI tomorrow. My husband and I have been TTC for 7 years. I have moderate endometriosis and had a laparoscopy in 2005 to remove endo. I had an HSG back in 2004 and all was clear. I am very excited about the IUI tomorrow! Have a wonderful day everyone!

Just confirmed with RE...going to do IUI!

Hi Everyone! My DH and I have been TTC for just under 4 years. After all the testing(BW, HSG, Laproscopy/Histroscopy, Endometrial Bx... ) We just got back from our appointment where we decieded to move on to IUI! We're very excited in that "not trying to get to excited" kind of way. My Bx did show a possible lueatal phase defect so our RE is going to put me on Femera. Could anybody give me feed back on their experiences with the drug? It kinda freaks me out that its a breast cancer drug...but, I'm trying not to let it get to me! Anyhow, our first IUI should be around the end of September early October! Seems so far away right now...praying for MORE patience!!

YAYY...how exciting...I can't wait to read your posts at the end of the month to see how everything is going!

& I don't know much about any of these treatments...aside from all "googling" I've been doing.
Fermara sounds like it works pretty good from what I've been reading.
I have to call on CD1 to get my "pen" to give myself the shot. (I thought my husband was going to pass out...he hates even the thought of needles lol)
My husband's on the low-end of normal motility, 53% I think..and 50% is what they look for...so hopefully i will get some mature multiple follicles from the gonal f and with the IUI, it will hopefully help those lil'guys get to the right place! I cannot wait to start.

Glad to have a cycle buddy!!!
~Melissa

Same here!! I'll be on the lookout for updates!
My husband doesn't do well with needles either...good luck with that! I have to do 1 HCG shot the night before the procedure and my husband is a little freaked out! Silly boys! If a little needle was the worst of it, right?!

Hope to hear good news soon!!

Smile Newbie :-)

Hello

I just registered with the site today. I am 26 years old and have been happily married for 4 years. I began TTC in October of 2007. So far I have tried clomid which did not work. I recently began seeing a RE. We have been diagnosed as "Unexplained Infertility". The RE decided we should try IUI this month. I will be beginning my Follistim injections tomorrow. I am trying to stay positive that this will work. Something has to right?? I look forward to reading others stories and giving some encouragement and support to others.

Unhappy First IUI failed

Hi Ladies!
I am happy to find a site such as this. I think it is great to share stories & experiences.

My husband & I will be married two years at the end of this month. We have been TTC now for a year.
My father-in-law is an OBGYN & reccomended for us to see a infertility specialist.
I had a HSG done, which they found my tubes to be clear.
My husband had a semen analysis test done, which came back excellent in count (200+ million), great motility, and morphology at 2%. Which I think they like to see at 4%.
This past month, I recently was on 100mg of Clomid for 5 days. I had blood work & ultrasounds done. All was good. So, I was told to use the OPK sticks & test till I get my LH surge. My cycle ranges from 23-28 days. I went in on day 12. It was time! They found 3 mature follicles on one side & 3 on the other measuring 23....something like that.
That is when they gave me a shot of ovidrel & was time for my first IUI. They did back to back both days of iui's. A few days later I went in for bloodwork & my progesterone was at 25! I was so happy! Thinking this is it

However, during my 2ww, I did feel different, but was having cramps. I couldnt help but feel anxious, so I tested 10 dpiui to get nothing but a . I was devastated, but also kept my that it could be implantation.
Unfortunately, today was day 24 & I got my AF !
My husband & I were sooooo sure that it worked this month. How could it not? I mean we are both two very healthy young people whom have nothing wrong?! But, for some reason, it just didnt take. SO after tons of tears I could only move on & hope that next month will be a success & will finally hope to get a ! One could only hope right?
Anyways, thank you for reading & know that us women are in this together.
I hope for all of us out there TTC will get a !!!!
Sending out TONS of
&
