Cramping after IUI
Has anyone experienced cramping after an iui? I had my iui this morning and I started cramping (feels like really bad af cramps) this afternoon. I called my re and they said not to worry unless I was running a fever or was in servere pain. I've never cramped with an iui before so this is new for me. I took 2 extra strength tylenol and its taken the edge off, but I'm still having them

Me 38 - tubal factor (blocked right tube), retroverted uterus, & ama DH 45 - perfect TTC: 13 months + tubal surgery '07,HSG 4/08 right tube blocked _______________________________ IUI #1 02/08  unmedicated IUI #2 3/08 clomid 50mg, ovidrel, prometrium sup. (2 mature follies, 1 right, 1 left)IUI #3 b2b 4/08 clomid 100mg, ovidrel, prometrium sup. (2 mature follies, 1 right, 1 left), IUI #4 b2b 10/08 lupron, follistim, ovidrel, crinone gel (9 mature follies, 4 left, 5 right) Laparoscopy/hysterscopy 10/28 (Found adhesions on the left tube. The tube was securely attached to my intestines and the fimbria were pulled completely away from the ovary. As soon as the re cut the adhesions the tube and fimbria popped right back into place. Left tube is now wide open.  )IVF #1 (  it's the only one)11/11 Started Lupron .10 iu 11/27 225iu gonal-f & .05iu lupron 12/01 u/s & b/w

Yes, very bad cramps especially on #1. Before I left dr. office for #2 I asked him if I could use a heating pad b/c they were so bad last time, he said that is fine. Hope they get better. Just take it easy if you can.

Yes really bad!
I had severe cramps after my IUI, but it was because they had to dilate my cervix during the procedure. Hope you feel better soon.

Yes, I had cramps after my IUI that were worse than any AF cramps I've ever had. Thank God it gets better though.

Me-22 GF-23 for  IUI #1 6/9/08- 10 Day Sonogram. Two follies. (10mm & 11mm) 6/14/08- OPK positive for LH surge. 6/15/08- IUI with VERY motile sperm 6/16/08- Post sono to check for follicular collapse. Follie had not collapsed, it had actually grown to 19mm. 7/2/08- Beta IUI #2 10/9/08- 10 day sono (Three follies- 10mm, 10mm, and 11.46mm) 10/15/08- LH BW positive for surge. Had IUI with 25.9 mil sperm and 84% motility. One follie at 20.7mm. 10/16/08- No ovulation yet. 2nd IUI with 36 mil sperm. One follie at 23mm. 10/17/08- Sono to check for follicular collapse. Had collapsed, so ovulation occured sometime between 5pm on the 16th to 5pm on the 17th. 10/28/08- Beta ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I had cramps after my IUIs. Since they have irritated everything down there it's pretty common. Try to avoid a heating pad though, you want to avoid changing your body temp right now.

I HAD CRAMPS BEFORE MY IUI ACTUALLY, I THINK OVULATION CRAMPS. MY IUI WAS TOTALLY PAINLESS, BUT STARTED GETTING CRAMPY THE DAY AFTER AND STILL AM CRAMPY. I HOPE THAT IS A GOOD SIGN
. THAT YOU GET A BFP AND ALL THE CRAMPS ARE WORTH IT..KEEP US POSTED.

I Had My First Iui Today And They Couldnt Find My Uterus...it Took An Hour... I Have Had Severe Cramps All Day And Tonight... Hope U Feel Better Soon... I Have Heating Pad On And Feet Up. It Helps A Little
