Hi! Sorry, I haven't been on in a few days - I'm on cycle day 5 today. We're doing one more unmedicated iui before moving on to ivf. I'm realllyyy hoping this is the one b/c my I'll probably have to find a new RE for IVF (my RE doesn't want us to skip medicated iui's and go right to ivf, but we've been trying for 1 1/2 yrs. and if I'm gonna do injectibles, I just want to do ivf). I love my RE but will do what I have to do! Anyway, here's hoping this cycle is it for all of us!!! I'll be doing IUI around Dec. 8 or so. Good luck everyone!

Today is cd4. I have an appointment tomorrow, and I hope he writes a scrip for more clomid and schedules that darn HSG this week. If everything goes the way I hope, then I should have my IUI on 5 Dec.

Just wanted to wish everyone good luck!!! I want to see tons of BFPs posted! I am on a break for December (mandated by moi...) I do have an appointment with my RE on the 6th to discuss what is next. That will be interesting, I will keep y'all posted.

I will be CD3 tomorrow (Monday) - planning on calling my RE's office and hope that I am not too late to start whatever injectibles she wants me on.

The first time we went through all of this - they always started on CD3.......... I am hoping to get a prescription and filled ASAP.

Count me in! showed up minutes ago so I'm all set to start my injections on 11/28...and I spose the IUI on 12/10! Wow! That really would put me at Christmas after the 2 week wait. It's almost too perfect of a scenario to believe! My injection dosage is doubled this month- so I am optimistic. Plus my DH is going to a urologist in a few weeks so that could lead to new revelations about his viscosity issue. I am also starting Metformin this week so just maybe- all the planets will be in alignment and Santa will be good to me. Good luck to all!

Well no shot for me! I called the RE today and got Dumb Sono (Darlene is her name I found out). Instead of having me come in and do some testing (like Amy said I would have to), she just called in the prescription. It's for pills instead of the shot. Not sure if works any worse/better.

It could be 2 weeks before AF arrives. I feel like my chance of having an IUI before Christmas is slowly fading away. There are only 4 more weeks, and if AF takes 2 weeks to arrive, that only leaves 2 weeks for the Letrozole/ultrasounds/and follicles to grow.

I feel like my life is revolving around 2 week incremints. The 2ww wait, 2 weeks for AF to start, 2 weeks before ultrasound testing. UGH!!!!

So, it looks like I might not have my IUI until after Christmas. But that means I will have a LOT of ultrasounds right around Christmas time.

So, I doubt I'm actually cycle buddies with anyone right now. Maybe once AF arrives I can join in.

I will join...we are going at it natural for this month. I am really wanting to try accupuncture but I cannot get my RE's nurse to give me a recommendation. So, how do you go about finding a good accupuncturist?

rebecca - i am so sorry, i hate it when they don't take time to really understand what is going on with us. But hope that the pills work and that you can join us before x-mas

steph - as for the accupuncturist, i did a net search and talked to another IF lady. if you are in a urban area you can check out several, they are kind of like any doc, you need to make sure that you feel comfortable. sending you plenty of babydust that you get your natural miracle for x-mas

kim - i love your scinerio, a x-mas beta, that would be a perfect present. good luck sunshine!

i just got back from the RE to have a consult with the RE concerning IVF in June. wow, there is a lot that needs to be done, and i now i have to talk to the finance person... can't they just give out IVF treatments for the holidays, wouldn't that be wonerful!!!

i hope that everyone is having a great monday, i go in for my first u/s and b/w tomorrow, hoping for some great follies.

Why June 2008 for the IVF? Does that time just work better for you or does it take that long to get your body ready? My RE wants me to switch to IVF if not successful after 4 IUI's so its something we are trying to mentally (if not financially) prepare for.

several factors went into that decision - school will be getting out - less stress and if need be i can be on bed rest. we have some extra time to get some more money together, which we will need. and the most important reason, i need a break from it all, i am tired of the doctors appointments, the hormone shots, the let down after all of it. i just need to time to get my head around it. so really it is just a personal decision, i hope that i answered your question without telling you my life story.

good luck with the IUIs and hopefully you wont have to worry about IVF.

jackie - how did things go with your RE? did you have enough time to get on the meds. blessings

Hi Ladies- Count me in. I am currently on day 2 of my dreaded 2WW. There was a question in regards to Clomid earlier and I wanted to say something. I have been taking Clomid 50mg for the last two cycles. Last cycle I had great lining and two wonderful follies. This month my lining was thin and I only had one follie. I have learned that Clomid thins your lining. I also thought that I should have more follies seeing as Clomid is suppose to create more for BIG O. I will not take Clomid again. I understand for some women if you have O problems Clomid is great-however, I do not have O problems...my RE wanted me to take Clomid to increase my chances. I could do without the side effects (I got depressed).

I am on BCP and have already gotten breakthrough bleeding. I had to call the office today to see when I should go in. The nurse said to stop taking the pill on December 4th and schedule the sono/lab for December 7th. I debated on doing this so close to Christmas, because knowing my luck will show on Christmas and then how fun will that be? Anyhow, hopefully this will put us knowing before Christmas. A lot of Babydust to others for December. This is our month girls. Let's Rock-N-Roll.

Good luck on your u/s and b/w tomorrow, teach!! I go on Wednesday for the same thing. I'm already so worried that I won't have any follicles (and I'm hoping, hoping, hoping for two or three!!) or that my lining will be too thin. The worry just never ends!! I think it's a great idea for you to wait until June for the IVF if this month is a bust (you are still doing the IUI again, aren't you?). What kind of meds do you take, injectables? Are they terribly expensive with insurance? If the IUI's don't work for us and we have to move onto IVF, we're gonna take a break for a few months as well.

I also live in the 2 week increment. It is hard, and I'm not sure which wait is the worst. Waiting to POAS/AF to arrive, or u/s and IUI. It's so frustrating.
