You can count me in too. I am going au naturale this month, but I did have an u/s today (cd13) and it showed a large follie on the left and another on the right. I'll probably O cd14 which is tomorrow. We've been doing the BD every other day since Friday.

Jamie - I totally know what you about really needing a break from the meds, the poking, the prodding, etc. If the next 2 natural cycles don't work for us then it is one more very aggressive IUI and then on to IVF. It will probably take us about a year to save for it since we don't have any coverage. I hope that we both don't need to go there!

Stephanie,

I am in. I finally got a surge on the OPK on Thanksgiving so we BD'd over the holiday. I would LOVE to cancel the Lap on 12/13 because I was preggers. Not holding out too much hope since we went totally natural and no meds -- but I can hope a little. If not, at least I can drink at our New Years Eve party.

1st u/s

well, i am back from my first u/s for the cycle and things look good. no cysts, lining is at 5, which is a little low from where i have been in the past, but i am sure that it will grow. i also have 6 measurable follies (15mm -9mm) so i go back in three days. i am trying not to get excited about this cycle... the last 3 didn't work what makes me think that this one will. anyway, i hope that everyone is having a good start to the week and keep me posted.

Missy - congrats on the surge, i will keep my fingers crossed that you do get yoru miracle and don't have to worry about the lap. the would be a x-mas miracle!!!

hopeful - good luck with your u/s tomorrow, and if at all possible try not to worry, i know easier said than done! oh, and i am on follistim, which costs between $400-$800 a cycle, depending on my dosage. I usually use one cartridge ($428) and then just a little of the next.

chicky - awesome follies, you are on a natural cycle, right? well enjoy the babydancing, and hopefully you wont have to worry about any of the meds.

Glad to hear things are looking good historyteach. I also understand about needing time off. This last natural cycle was nice for me...really helped me relax. I turned 36 last weekend so I really feel like I can't take too much time off...I've got that clock hammering in the back of my head at all times.
Ouch on the cost of those drugs! Has your RE ever mentioned getting the Folistim from Europe? I bought my Repronex and trigger shot from England this last time and I got three months for the price of 1 month here. One shot of repronex was costing me 50 here, and over there its 12.50. Shipping was pretty quick too.
Steph-I found the accupuncturist I'm going to see by looking online. I found a few, made a few calls and picked a doctor. I didn't even bother asking my RE's office, though I might mention it to them today and see what they think.
I'm off to my baseline u/s to make sure I'm okay to start the repronex tomorrow. Fun fun!

Yep. My RE's office wrote me a script and gave me this sheet with the name of this British company called IVFmeds.com. Website: IVFMeds Home Page

I went to the site, uploaded my scripts, paid with credit card and they called me several times to verify my order, shipment and that the shipment arrived. I bought two months of repronex (at 1.5 shots a day) and two trigger shots for 400. Which is about half of what it would have cost me here. The shots come in Eurpopean type containers, little glass vials you have to break. And I have no idea if they have the follistim pen or not. But, its worth looking into!

BTW- my u/s was good and I am starting shots tonight.

Jamie -- 6 follies sounds great!!

Kim -- that is interesting about the meds from Europe. I didn't know that they could ship into the US. Good for you.

Chicky -- that is alot of BD-ing!!! That is way more than I can get my DH to do!!

I'm on CD 6-we're going to try on our own for a couple months. DH is finishing antibiotics to clear up and infection that was interering with his SA, plus I just had as HSG. We're hoping with the combo we won't need to move onto a LAP or eventually IUI. Wouldn't this be a great Christmas to see a bunch of !!!

Hi ladies! Sorry I didn't post yesterday, I was having lots of trouble with the site loading properly. I tried both of our computers so I think the problem was on the site's end. Did any of you have problems with the site yesterday? Just curious.

Anyway, as for the BDing, it is a lot and we almost backed out yesterday but decided to give it a go and we have been trying to make it fun and not routine. Of course my DH fell right asleep after (snoring loudly) and I was awake for hours. Why are they able to fall asleep so easily afterwards?

My OPK results have been wierd. I started testing on Sat. which would have been CD11 and I there was a lot of LH present but it wasn't as dark at the test line. I went out a bought the clearblue easy digital in the afternoon and tested again late Sat. and didn't get a positive. I tested again on Sunday and it was lighter then Sat. and seems to keep getting lighter. I went to the RE on Monday and my follies were measured (25mm and 12mm on left and 14mm on right). They weren't sure if the 25 was a cyst because I didn't do a baseline because of the natural cycle, but if it was a follie I should have surged by now, right? Do you think I actually surged earlier so that is why the test line keeps getting lighter? I tested again this morning and it was really light (today is CD15). When I get monitored by the RE I seem to surge around 15 or 16 (but that is with letrozole and follistim) but this month is pretty wierd. I guess it really doesn't matter because of all the BDing but I just want to make sure that I surged. I'd love input from you all!

On a side note, we were really upset with our RE on Monday when we went for the post-lap follow up. I told him that so many women get to go 2 weeks following the lap and our appt. was 5 weeks after! I told him that I called the office with questions during those weeks and they basically blew us off. He know we were pissed and spent the rest of the appt. being super nice (he now has competition in our local area and has been losing patients). For the first time in the 9 mos we've been seeing us, he called me at home to check in on my natural cycle. I guess it pays to let them know you aren't happy. I just hope he keeps it up.

Sorry for the ultra long post!

Hi girls,

I was looking for buddies that can go through the cycle with me. I am glad I found this forum.

Anyway, I started on Gonal on day 3. And I have been on it until today DAY 8. They are planning on IUI Friday or Saturday.

I have 3 mature follices as of US today. 15.2, 14.9 and something 14. The rest were 10. something.

Anyway, they might trigger me today or maybe tomorrow.

I am hoping I conceive this cycle. Pray for me....
