I have noticed that we have gotten several BFN this weekend, and although that sucks. I am ready to start this cycle so that I can get a BFP for x-mas. So ladies are you in? we can start a thread on our own craziness. I am on day 3 and onto injectibles, again. so how are you doing? babydust to all

Hello! Well, I am on cd10, finished the last of my clomid a few days ago. I go on Wednesday to check for follies, will hopefully do IUI #2 soon after. Now I am getting a cold, which really sucks, and my DH got laid off from his job last week!! Things are certainly a challenge these days, but I'm getting pretty used to it!! Here's to a great cycle and hopefully lots of 's!!!

rennae - i am so sorry about your DH's job. is he construction worker or what is going on. that must be absolutely horrible, with the holidays coming up. your family are in my thoughts and prayers. good luck with your u/s, i will keep my fingers crossed that you have some wonderful follies.

I'm in as well. I go either tomorrow or Monday for my AF shot. Hopefully it happens soon. I am going to ask for an ultrasound just to make sure I don't have any follicles. For some reason, I just think that I do. Hopefully I do and we can do another IUI really soon.

My DH was a group coordinator at a local company that makes heat and air units, business is slow, so he got laid off... It is unfortunate, but we've been saving and I'm sure he'll get an even better job opportunity. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers, we'll need them!!

I'm in. I just took my first clomid pill tonight. Hopefully all goes well and I can do my first IUI I think around Dec 3 or 4. What are some experiences with clomid? Or is that on another thread? (I just joined up today.)

rennae - you are in my thoughts and prayers. and it looks like you are very positive about the whole situation. good luck, just imagine your x-mas surprise, a BFP and your hubby getting a new job.

onto day 4, and if i just didn't have AF i would swear that i am preggers. woke up sick three times this morning and then got sick again over the smell of coffee. looks like the meds are screwing with me again.

Sarah - good luck with the accupuncture, i have taken time off until IVF in june. are you getting you Qi all squared away. I am thinking about you and praying that we get our miracle!

jennycat - i have never been on clomid, you can try another thread but you are more than welcome here to deal with all the craziness of going thru a cycle on meds! good luck!

Well I am out for this cycle - AF showed yesterday. But I knew she was coming. I'd like to do IUI again this month but we've been paying everything out of pocket & would like to put the almost $1,000 we would spend this month towards Christmas. My DD comes 1st. Plus we're going to South Carolina for Christmas to be with my family & I want to enjoy. It's been years since we've all spent Christmas together & I'll be with my sisters. Will most likely start IUI again in January.

If we do IUI this month it would be around Dec. 10th or 11th.

Does anyone know what the next med is after clomid?

BTW, Jennycat, Clomid is ok. I haven't really had any bad experiences with it. The 1st month I experienced kind of a "foggy head" & slight blurred vision. But it was completely tolerable. Some hot flashes. But not bad. I'm pretty good @ ignoring them & not looking for symptoms. You just have to go with it. I've never taken any other meds but I hear that Cliomid is milder compared to some other's. Good luck!

Jamie, I really hope you get your Christmas surprise! What injectibles are you on? I'm wondering about what my RE will want to do when I see him tomorrow. Do I up the Clomid or start another drug? It's just so puzzling to me that after all these IUI's 30 - 40 million moveable sperm just cannot jump on & fertilize 1 freakin egg! I do not get it. And the thing that sucks is that there is no freakin explanation! Had to get that out!

kim - thanks for your wishes and congrats on the little boy!!

jill- after clomid my RE goes to follistim, i never did clomid, because the % of the injectibles were so much higher and patience has not been one of my strong points. it really isn't bad and you get used to the shots quickly, alteast for me I look forward to it because i know that i am doing something to help me get pregnant.

hope that everyone is having a great weekend. i am watching football - i hope the eagles lose. for a PA girl, i can't stand them.
