IUI/ Trigger Shot

Ladies, I cannot seem to find an answer on line so I thought I would post it.
I had my trigger shot one week ago today. I am feeling very bloated. My stomach is usually concave, and it even looks bloated. When I lay down and push on it, I do not know what is wrong with it. I did gain some weight, about three pounds, before thanksgiving. I am also feeling weepy. Stupid things make me cry. It is not a depression feeling, not sadness, but weepy? Are either of these common side effects of the ovidrel? Nobody takes me seriously about my stomach, they say I can stand to have a bigger one.. The weight is not my concern, I just want to know if there is something wrong with me. It looks weird, noticably different. Any advice is appreciated.

Hi DeeDee.
I was soooo bloated after Ovidrel shot and IUI.... basically for the whole two weeks. I felt like a balloon. I did have brown discharge and it ended up in BFN, but that doesn't mean you will too. When i called my RE to ask about the brown discharge, she asked me how I was feeling and I told her about being very bloated and she told me that was a good sign (but she wasn't too positive about the brown discharge).

So, I sooo hope this is it for you! Crossing my fingers that you get your BFP!!!
Hugs,

Hi DeeDee,
i had the same problem after shot and clomid. This last cycle was the worse. I was bloated and right after each meal i had lots of tummy pain. I was very uncomfortable for about 10 days after shot. And i had very little brown discharge 10 and 11 DPIUI. I recently found out that I'm . Hope that its your month too.

My guess is you have some extra fluid from the releasing of follicles. I had several months of severe bloating. Watch to make sure it does not get worse. This can be a sign of OHSS. Drink Gatorade it helps to get rid of the extra fluid. Lots and lots of gatorade!!

See you in the grad line!!

Thank you!

Thank you ladies! I feel better knowing that others have experienced this. It just did not seem like 3-4 pounds gained would all be right there, in my stomach... And the weepiness, oh my! I am just sort of rolling with it, almost funny what is making me tear up! I appreciate the comments... This may be the one time I do not wait and see if the wicked AF is going arrive, I may actually POAS. What is the best day to test at? I had trigger on the 21st, then ICI on the 22nd and IUI on the 23rd.... What brand do you all recommend?
