Another Question
Im sorry I have another question. Like I said on my other thread I did my HCG shot at 2am this morning 12/07 now it is 9am and I took a digital o test and it had a
 . The box said I will o in the next 24-48 hrs with a smiley. Can an HCG shot make you have a smiley once it is in your system(false posative). Just worried I will o before tomm morning for my IUI. It is at 9am, or am I just driving myself nuts!!!! Meiko Milo

the OPK is picking up the shot that is in your system. you will not ovulate right away, it usually takes me 24 hours to ovulate after the shot, so you should be ok. most people ovualte somewhere between 24 - 36 hours after the shot. so good luck with your IUI tomorrow and i hope that it brings you your BFP!

From what I have read from other ladies is that the HCG shot will stay in your system for about 10 days. You will get a positive on a test. Many ladies test repeatedly for several days to see when the trigger shot is out of their system. That way they know that the next positive is a true BFP. I hope that helps.
